Day 732. Last night I was so extremely tired, I could not keep my eyes open while writing my update. At 11:30 pm I headed to bed. This morning Emmy came to me at 4 am. At 6 am he was up and about, woke his sister up, and already asked for food. He was crying and throwing a fit, demanding food. I finally got up and gave them milk and salami, while making their cereal. They didn't eat much more at the table; Tammy some watermelon. Emmy dropped his cereal cup, and so his food was all over the place, and Tammy threw her food all over the place on purpose. So there was already a lot of cleaning going on very early in the morning.

Then I had to fight them both to brush their teeth, then I cleaned them up and dressed them. Not an easy morning. Then we went downstairs, where the fun started. They immediately started playing with their new stuff - from a vehicle where you could put animals through holes, to the toy food and kitchenware, to the balloons. It kept them pretty busy. When Randy arrived, I left them and went upstairs to finish cleaning up, and then work.

I still had to edit and upload all of the birthday pictures from yesterday, which was a lot of work. I was getting really tired and finally had no choice but to close my eyes for a few minutes. Until my alarm went off at 10:25, then Sonja arrived, and then I went to the kitchen to warm up yesterday's leftovers. At 11 am they came upstairs to eat.

Tammy ate little again, Emmy a little more. They all had icecream. Then I cleaned them up, dressed them, and put Emmy to bed, then got Sammy to do the same with him. By the time I put Sammy to bed, Emmy was already asleep, which was very surprising. It was only 11:35. I still waited until the typical time of 12:30 to put Tammy to bed. She usually plays by herself until she falls asleep. Today she wanted her Daddy. Randy ended up sitting down by her bed with his lunch, and omelet, and before I knew it she sat in his lap eating his omelet, and eating a lot. So tomorrow we'll go back to 11:30 for lunch; maybe she'll eat more when it's later.

Unfortunately she woke the boys up before falling asleep. They had only slept an hour. I took them both downstairs, as all Emmy wanted was Sonja. Just before 2 pm Randy left with Sammy to go to his private physiotherapy session. He had a good time there.

Tammy also woke up after just an hour, which is very little sleep for her, and she went downstairs as well. They were playing for a while, when Sonja came to ask whether they could go outside. It was cold but it had stopped raining, so I got some long pants and jackets besides the shoes. I continued working, and could hear them play outside. And they played for quite a while. Tammy had her doll stroller out, and also drove her car. And they had the giant bubbles.

A few minutes after they had come back inside, the boys returned home, and Sammy joined them downstairs. At 4:45 I also went downstairs to spend time with them. We were playing with balloons, they were swinging, and then we got the animals out that I had bought to decorate the cake with. We used something blue for the water, and I also set up the fence. All three enjoyed playing with them. Tammy kept showing me pieces and saying "fish" and then putting it onto the blue correctly.

At 5:30 pm I left to go make their dinner. Tammy was crying and didn't want me to leave. Thankfully she calmed down after a while. At 6 pm I called them upstairs to eat. They ate some at the table, and a lot more in the bathtub. Sammy ate everything on his plate, as I was putting it into his mouth while he was busy playing with the faucet. As always he was screaming at the top of his lungs when I got him out of the water. That's how much he loves playing with the faucet.

They seemed tired, so I hoped they'd fall asleep fast today, but that was not the case. Even Sammy needed a while tonight. As for Randy, he had gone straight back downstairs to continue putting their toy kitchen together. He had started it in the afternoon and wanted to get it done. I made myself something to eat and ate, while Randy was still downstairs. At 10 pm I went to check on him, and he'd made great progress. He wanted to get it done tonight.

I returned upstairs to work. Not long after Tammy started stirring, I stroked her head, and she was fine. A few minutes later the same thing, but this time she kept saying "Papa" and there was nothing I could do. She ran to the staircase and I had to call Randy upstairs. Unfortunately Emmy was woken up by the noise; thankfully it wasn't hard to put him back to bed. Randy held her first, then sat by her bed, until he could walk away. Unfortunately the same thing happened again a while later, and there is nothing I can do, as she does not want me, she wants her Daddy. Randy had just finished with the kitchen, and came upstairs and sat down with her. It was after 11 pm, and he still hadn't even eaten yet. And every time he tried to walk away, she'd start crying again for him to stay. Now it's midnight and he's still sitting with her. And I'm so tired that I have to go to bed.
