Day 747. It was just after 11:30 pm, when I headed to bed last night. Emmy once again came to me in the middle of the night and slept in bed with us, while Tammy stayed in her bed until it was time to get up. Sammy was the first one up this morning, of course at 6 am, and I put him in bed with us. By 7 am we were all up and going downstairs for breakfast.

They have a buffet, and I first went to get some food for them, as they are always impatient to eat, but then they don't eat that much. They sure like drinking milk, though, especially Tammy drinks a lot of (cold) milk. And today she threw an egg plate on the ground and it broke. They also wanted to go on the slide really bad, as they could see it, but when we went outside after having finished eating, the slide was still wet, so we went back inside. It had rained during the night.

And so we all went to our room together, where I tried to work and prepare for my message tomorrow, while Randy tried to play with them. It wasn't working very well. At one point I turned on a kids' channel on TV, but we did not have it on for long.

Just before 11 am we left to walk to the pharmacy to get a Covid test done. We have to always have a valid test result, as we have breakfast at the hotel. It was a short walk down the road, and the sun was out, so we were walking. Randy was carrying Sammy, while I was holding hands with the other two. We went into the pharmacy, only to find out we had to go around the building to the back for the test. There we had to fill out some papers, and then they tested us, and we started walking back home. On the way we saw a lady play with her dog and walked up to her, and the kids were allowed to pet the young and lively dog. We continued on, and Emmy saw a motorcycle he liked. A few minutes later we were back in our room.

And it was nearly 11:30, so way overdue for lunch. We were on our own and had bought some stuff to eat yesterday. I put some cream cheese on bread for them and got the salami out. They have also been crazy for milk and strawberries, and our host had been so kind to bring us some more, and they immediately demanded the strawberries that I could not wash and cut fast enough for them.

After having eaten it was nap time. It took until 1 pm before everyone was finally asleep. Sammy was the first one up, just before 2 pm, and Randy picked him. However, they made so much noise that Emmy woke up. He came to the bed where I was working and fell back asleep there, while Randy left the room with Sammy. By 2:30 they were all awake, and I let our hosts know, who came to the hotel. Thankfully they don't live far from here. We got them all dressed, and just after 3 pm everyone but me left to go to the playground.

I had nearly two hours on my own to work and made the most of it.. I'm preaching tomorrow night and had hardly had a chance to prepare, which is why I needed this alone time. The kids had fun at the playground, and Randy took a few pictures. One time Tammy was pushing Sammy, who was in the swing. And one time I called Randy to ask him something, and he made the mistake of handing the phone to the kids to talk to me. That made them cry for Mommy.

Just before 5 pm they were back. An hour later we went downstairs for dinner. They had set a table outside, right by the slide, which was perfect. We were there first, and a few minutes later our hosts and friends arrived. Another few minutes later the pastor and his wife arrived. It was great seeing them again, and we all had a great time at dinner tonight. The pastor was great with the kids, and all of them helped at times with the children, especially when they wanted to climb up to get to the slide. It's always hard to have a conversation now, but we managed to talk for a few minutes here and there, especially about the service tomorrow.

It was getting late, and the kids pretty tired, especially Sammy. It was after 7:30, when we finally said our good-byes and returned to our room. We immediately started undressing them and showering them, putting their pj's on and putting them to bed. Somehow all three wanted Mommy tonight, and so I sat on the floor between their three beds, moving closer to whoever needed me, though that made especially Emmy jealous. But it worked out well. By about 8:30 they were all asleep, and I was able to go back to work.

And now it's after 11 pm, and I'm the only one awake. And I've been in a lot of back pain. It started about two weeks ago, and has been getting worse. I hurt pretty much all of the time, sometimes a lot, have a hard time moving sometimes. I do not like this. Pleasre pray with me for restoration.
