Last night it was a quarter after midnight before I went to bed, and tonight it's gonna be at least that late. This morning we got up at 7:50. Emmy was standing in his bed completely naked, our escape artist, having slipped out of his pj that is buttoned in the back, and thrown his diaper out of his bed. We fed them, cleaned and dressed them, and I took Emmy and Tammy downstairs, while Randy was finishing up with Sammy and getting his breakfast ready. I played with them for a long time before Randy relieved me, and I could go upstairs to work.

I was pretty tired, but I kept going and working and never had a nap during the day, tired or not. Thankfully I got things done. It was cooking day, and so I went to the kitchen before 11 am to cook for the six of us.

Sonja arrived before 11:30, and by 11:30 their food was ready and on their plates, and Sonja and Randy ate the same food (I'm on a diet). They had watermelon, banana and yoghurt as dessert, and then I cleaned them up and Emmy went to bed, while Sonja took Tammy downstairs. Today Emmy fell asleep pretty fast, and so I could go get Tammy pretty quickly. She brought her new baby doll with her and lay down with her arm around her. A few minutes later she was crying hard. I went to check on her, and she was standing in bed and simply handed me the doll, and then lay down hugging her rabbits that she always sleeps with. Baby doll was banned from bed.

I ate and went back to work and actually forgot to clean up. Today Emmy slept nearly two hours without waking up, which is not typical, but then he was up. And the other two woke up as well, and it's also rare for them to wake up at the same time. It was only 2 pm, but we still sat down at the table to feed them. Since it was early and a beautiful, warm day, we decided to go to the famous flower gardens not that far from us that we hadn't been to yet. We cleaned them and dressed them and left to walk to the bus station.

It was really a warm, beautiful day. We had to wait for the bus for a while, but finally it came. We got off at the gardens and started walking. The flowers were really beautiful. Once we got to the playground, we let them out of the strollers to play. It was the biggest and nicest playground I've seen so far. Tammy went on the swing, and they went down the slide a few times, but weren't that interested in it. Randy walked over to the pond with Sammy, and then I walked around the pond with Tammy, who was especially exploring the flowers. We ended up back at the playground.

There was a beehive that you could crawl into and then slide out of, and Emmy was busy going in and sliding out. Tammy went in too, but didn't like it that much. The older kids were not careful with the little ones at all.

There was a spinning platform, and we all sat on it going round and round for a while, and then let Tammy and Emmy go on their own. Then we went over to the see-saw, but they did not like it. There was another house that Randy put Sammy into on top, and Tammy went inside on the bottom. Then they went to a huge ant and sat on it. Then they sat on a hammock together. And then Emmy crawled through a hollow log and swung on a round swing. They were getting a little tired, and so we decided to head back home.

Emmy did not want to sit in the stroller, and so I ended up carrying him. At the bus stop we sat down on the bench, and it looked like Emmy was reading the paper lying there. We had to wait quite a while again before the bus arrived. In the bus Emmy sat on my lap and enjoyed looking out. When we got off, we still had quite a bit of walking to do, and I ended up putting him on my shoulders where he's easier to carry.

Once we entered the building, Emmy walked up the few steps that lead to the hallway to our apartment door. I got Tammy out of the stroller as well, and she also walked up the steps. Randy had to take the stroller around and up the ramp, and it was really cute how they interacted, when their eyes met on either side of the railing.

It was going on 5 pm, and so they went downstairs to play, while I started making their food. At 5:30 they came upstairs to eat, then they went into the bathtub and finished their food, and then they came out to go to bed. Today I walked away and did not come back, and they fell asleep on their own. Thank God Sammy's runny nose is much better.

I made my food and ate it, and started working, until taking a break to clean up the kitchen and dining room. Then I returned to the computer to work. Now it's just after midnight and I need to head to bed.
