HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 672. Tonight it's way too late as I start writing this. Last night it was late as well. This morning it was nearly 8:15 before we got up. I got them out of bed, and made their breakfast. Then we sat down to eat. After cleaning them up and dressing them, I took Tammy and Emmy downstairs, where we were worshipping God and dancing. Emmy is in a phase where he wants me to carry him a lot, so I had him on my arm dancing. Sammy joined us a little later, and I got the Bibles out for us to read, until Randy arrived with his breakfast. That was my time to leave to clean up and then do office work. I also put a chicken into the oven.
A 11 am I stopped working and started cooking, and at 11:30 we sat down to eat. Today I had made potatoes and vegetables instead of rice, and they loved it all. I think Tammy and Emmy ate more than ever. Everything was gone, and then I brought out the apple, pudding, yoghurt and watermelon. The other day I gave Sammy a spoon for the first time, and today they all had forks. This was Sammy's first time using a fork, and he did pretty well.
I cleaned them up and dressed them, and Randy took them downstairs, while I cleaned up and dressed Sammy and put him to bed. For Sammy it was a little later than usual. Emmy then happened to go to bed at his regular time of 12:40, and a few minutes later I put Tammy to bed.
After cleaning up I went back to work, but not for long. I was just so very tired that I actually fell asleep. I never heard when Randy picked up Sammy and went downstairs with him. I did hear Emmy wake up, and took him downstairs to Randy. And I went back to work in the kitchen, getting their dinner boxes ready for tonight, which takes some time. Tammy woke up before I could finish, as Randy had decided to come up to feed them. As time was short and I still had plenty to do, Randy ended up feeding all three by himself, while I was still cutting up their food-to-go. I was surprised my two went into the chairs, as I can usually not get them into the chairs at this time of day.
Once we had cleaned them up, we dressed them for church, and left on time at 4 pm. We still had some time until our train arrived, and both Emmy and Tammy came out of the strollers and stood or sat on the bench. Today we had a lot of dogs on the trains and trams we were on, and a guy on that first train let Tammy pet his dog. Emmy is too fearful for that. After the train we had a tram to take before arriving near the church and walking the last bit.
We always get there a few minutes before the service starts. We got them out of the strollers, and went to the front where all the flags were lying around for them to dance with. They were a little cautious today, timidly waving some flags, while watching everything that was going on.
Just after 5:30 we took our dinner boxes and walked up the stairs to go to the toddler room, where we sat down to eat. Again they were watching everything going on while eating, but Tammy got really busy with the toys right there real fast. Before I knew it it was just before 6 pm, and Randy arrived to hand me Sammy to participate in the program. We then sat down on the floor, and the other two came over as well. They all kept playing on, and I was wondering whether there was no program tonight. There was, it was just starting later than usual, and it was a little shorter. I think it's still hard for them to understand what is going on, and they mostly watch what everyone is doing. After the program, it was back to playing. And Randy picked up Sammy to go back into the sanctuary with him.
Tammy found the dolls again, and ended up having triplets, that she put to bed; there were two doll beds there. And then they got into playing cooking; there was a kid kitchen with kitchenware and toy food, and they loved playing with it. When the time was up, and it was time to leave, Tammy was screaming as she was not done playing. I had to just pick her up and leave, and someone pointed out how they had never seen her cry before.
We went back downstairs, where the service was about to end. Emmy enjoyed playing with the ropes that were around the chairs there, and I put Sammy on the chairs, which he enjoyed, while Randy changed Tammy's diaper. Once they were back, we put them all into the strollers to leave. It must have been a little later than usual, as we had just missed a train when we got to the train station after taking the tram. We had 20 minutes to wait for the regular train to come, but nearly half an hour for the S-train where there are no steps. As it came just 4 minutes after the regular train, we let the regular train pass.
By 8:15 we were home. Right away we started getting them ready for bed. Tammy wanted me to stay, so I sat down for a few minutes, though not too long. Our food arrived at 8:30, and a few minutes later I left Tammy to go downstairs, where we ate our dinner and watched (half) a movie together. At 10 pm we stopped, as I knew I still had lots of work to do. Now it's exactly 2 am, and I still have to do all the dishes. And I still have to take a Covid test. I'll probably skip cleaning the dining room tonight.
Note: Today Emmy said "Manni" meaning Sammy, and it was the second time he called him that. And Sammy wears 56 pants, which is a newborn size! We've received his calorie-rich puddings and drinks to help him gain weight.
