HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 693. It was somewhere around 12:30 am that I fell asleep last night. And Emmy only came to my side once and didn't get back up once I walked him back to his bed. In the morning he came to me again some time around 6 am. And he was not ready to sleep any more. Then he woke up Tammy, and I got her out of bed, and together they went on the balcony and were messing around with the cleaning supplies stored there and ended up "cleaning" the wall.
We sat down for breakfast just after 7 am, then went downstairs, where I turned the worship music on, and then we were dancing and worshipping God. After Sammy had joined us, I got some Bibles out and we read them, and when I left to go upstairs, Tammy and Emmy were sitting down in their comfortable corner to keep reading them on their own.
I did the clean up, then sat down to work, even though I was pretty tired. I finally got so tired I closed my eyes for half an hour, and had a rough awakening at 10:45, when my alarm went off. I got up and put yesterday's soup on the stove to be warmed up. I'd been hearing Sammy cry all morning, and still half asleep, I went downstairs to bring him up, and he was happy to be with me. Contrary to the other two who were upset to be left behind. At 11 am Randy came upstairs with them before I could even call them.
After lunch, Randy went downstairs with Tammy and Emmy, and I put Sammy to bed. I cleaned up everything, and then went to get Emmy who I put to bed at 12 pm. He was pretty tired and fell asleep faster than I had thought. Then I went to get Tammy who went to bed at about 12:15, which is pretty early for her.
Obviously too early. Even though she was tired, she kept playing and playing instead of sleeping, until Sammy had woken up, just over an hour after lying down. Randy went downstairs with him, having hardly had a break yet. And the girl kept playing on until she had also woken up Emmy after less than an hour. I picked up Emmy and lay down with him, but he did not go back to sleep, and so I took him downstairs. Then Tammy fell asleep just minutes later.
I was so very tired I wanted to sleep as well, but never did. Instead I got their dinner-to-go ready and everything else we needed for church.
Once again I heard Sammy cry a lot, and the boys came upstairs at around 2:50, which woke up Tammy. I opened the balcony door, and they ate outside while enjoying the trampolin and the bubbles I was blowing. Then we dressed them, and at 4 pm we left the house to go to church. We took the train, and then the tram, and got to church before the service started.
And once again they greatly enjoyed the flags during worship. It blesses me so much to see them dance with flags at church. At 5:30 I went upstairs to the toddler room with Tammy and Emmy. I got their food out, and they sat down at the table to eat, as did all the other kids there. They were watching everyone, while I was putting food into their mouths. Then they started playing, and then Sammy joined us, and I sat down with him, and then the program already started, and Tammy and Emmy joined me. Emmy was pretty tired due to his short nap. Once again they participated, especially Tammy. And again they did some crafts at the end, which they enjoyed.
Then it was playtime again. Today they spent a lot of time cooking in the kitchen and then sitting at the table eating it. It was great fun watching them.
Randy had already picked up Sammy, and a little while later the rest of us left as well to go downstairs, where the service was ending. It was raining hard outside, and so Randy got the raincovers for the strollers out. I didn't think they'd like or accept them at all, but Tammy and Sammy didn't mind them. Emmy did, and so I had to carry him on my arm, sharing my umbrella with him. We made the long walk to the tram stop, had to wait for a while, and then were lucky that we got to the train station just before the train arrived. However, they would not go back into the strollers, and so I had both Tammy and< Emmy on my arms, while Randy was pushing the strollers. Thankfully it's not a long ride.
We got home before 8 pm, and gave them the rest of their food, which they appreciated. Then I gave them a sink bath, and we got them ready for bed. The boys were asleep fast, but not the girl. Our food had arrived, and Randy had set up everything for our food and movie, but I had to return to Tammy's side, who was overly tired but wanted me there to fall asleep. When I left a few minutes later, she did not object any more and was probably asleep already.
Randy and I ate while watching the first half of a movie, and then I sat down to work on today's pictures. Now it's after 1 am, and I still have to do the dishes, so another short night ahead.
