Day 676. I think I went to bed at 1 am last night, but it always takes me a while to fall asleep. This morning it was Sammy I heard, when I got up at 7:50. I was surprised to find Emmy still asleep. I got the other two out and made their breakfast, while Randy was changing their diapers. We had just sat down and started to feed them, when Emmy woke up. I got him out of bed and took him straight to the table; he got his new diaper after the meal.

I cleaned them up, dressed them, and took them downstairs, where I turned the worship music on, and we started worshipping God. Well, I did. Sammy joined us, and I got a Bible out to read some stories. When Randy came with his breakfast, I left them and went upstairs to clean up and do office work. Sonja arrived at 9:15, and Randy came upstairs with Sammy to take him to his physiotherapy class. He was practicing going from a sitting to a standing position today.

At 11 am I stopped working to go cook lunch for everybody. Randy and Sammy returned just after 11:30, and we all sat down to eat at 11:45. I made egg pasta with bacon, which is the first dish I ever made for Randy, and they loved it. It's not Randy's favorite, though. Then Sammy went to bed, and a few minutes later Emmy. Once he was asleep I put Tammy to bed. Then Randy went to the grocery store, and I sat down to work. But I was very, very tired and needed a nap. However, before the girl was asleep, Emmy woke up again, after about 15 minutes of sleep. I had to get him, but he never goes back to sleep on me. He does on Randy who was not there. I finally took him downstairs to Sonja, after having tried to get him to sleep for a while. I did the same once Sammy woke up. Randy returned, and not long after that Tammy woke up, and I sat down with her and she rested on my chest for a while, while her brothers came back upstairs to eat. I opened the balcony door, and all the action was there again. After they had eaten, we dressed them, and all left the house just before 4 pm. I was very tired, but it's not about me.

Emmy sat on the tricycle on the way to the playground, and Tammy on the way home. We went to the big one about a 10 minute walk away. It was a cooler day today, and not as many kids as last time, though a big group arrived just before we left. As always they had a lot of fun. From slide to swing to the spring animal and climbing. They did it all. It's all sand there, and there's always some sandbox toys lying around. Tammy was playing with a little bucket and shovel one time, and when another girl her age came, she handed them to her. How sweet of Tammy! She also sat on a spring with four seats together with a girl who was quite a bit older, and greatly enjoyed her interaction.

At about 5 pm we left to go back home. Tammy ended up pushing the tricycle, while Emmy was on my shoulders, and then walking at my hand. Back home they went downstairs to play, while I made their food. At their regular 6 pm time they came upstairs to eat. Then they went into the bathtub, and as expected, Emmy immediately wanted out. He was just too tired. However, then the girl wanted out as well, which is not typical. And so Sammy was the only one left in the water. And he insisted on playing with the faucet, while I was putting food into his mouth. He had so much fun that he was crying hard, when I got him out of the water.

Today they were in bed earlier than usual because of the short bath time. It was the boys' second day of having a runny nose, and by tonight Tammy had it too. And that's when it all started. First Sammy woke up crying. I comforted him and put him back to bed, and he fell back asleep. Literally 5 minutes later Emmy woke up crying, so I picked him up. After I had held him for a while, he let me put him back down and he continued sleeping. Not more than 10 minutes later it was Tammy who woke up crying because of her runny nose. And from then on ever so often she'd wake up crying again. Twice Randy has sat by her bed, but most of the time I'm the one responding, and just did so a few minutes ago. Emmy has had his milk, so once I go to bed shortly, I'm not planning on getting up again. It's 1 am and I'm in great need of more sleep.
