Day 807. Last night I headed to bed just after 11 pm. I don't know what time Emmy joined us, and then Tammy came as well. The four of us just about had enough room in our bed, as long as we didn't move. I had my arm around Tammy, so she wouldn't fall off the bed, as she was on the edge. Going to the bathroom with Emmy on my left and Tammy on my right was a challenge, as it's pretty much impossible without waking them up. Today they were already up and busy at 6 am, which is an hour earlier than usual. Sammy was also upset and wanted to join us, and so Randy finally got him and let him come to bed with us. We got up at 7:15, I made breakfast, and we sat down to eat. After breakfast I dressed them and took them downstairs, where I got their Bibles out, and we read quite a few stories. When Randy came with his breakfast, I went upstairs to clean up and then do office work. I made good progress and worked until 11:20, then I went to the kitchen to cook.

At noon I called them upstairs to eat. I had already been hearing Sammy cry quite a bit. I was really glad to see Tammy eat everything in her bowl, and then have seconds. That's the first time in a while! Emmy also ate nearly everything. These kids like spinach! Then they both had pudding, before running to the bathtub to have fun with the water coming down from the shower head. Sammy joined them, having fun, and I fed him his special high-calorie pudding. After they came out, the boys went to bed. Randy sat down with them, while I went downstairs with Tammy. She wanted to watch "Barbapapa" again. At 1 pm we went back upstairs. Emmy had just fallen asleep. I put Tammy to bed, and Randy sat down by her, and she soon fell asleep.

Time was short. I was really tired and closed my eyes for a few minutes. Then I got up, picked their clothes out, and that was enough for Emmy to wake up, and so I got him dressed right away, while Randy got Sammy up and dressed him. Then I woke up Tammy and got her ready to go. We left after 2 pm, walked to the bus stop, and rode quite a few stops. After getting off, we still had a good walk ahead of us. We got to the family center a few minutes before the class was to start. I had to show them our negative Covid test, and then we were allowed in. I sure hope that a test will remain sufficient, instead of also only allowing the vaccinated to come.

She did the same songs she's been doing every week, and especially Tammy really participated, while Emmy was mainly watching. He did turn on the spot, when it was his turn to do so.

Then it was play time. She set up a few climbing contraptions that they enjoyed, and also rode on cars and played with toys. There was plenty of stuff to keep them busy. When they set up the table for snack time early, Tammy and Emmy sat down at the table, but it still took a while for the food to come out. They were cheering, when it finally came, and ate quite a bit. Then there were only a few minutes left, mainly for putting everything away, before the teacher sang the good-bye song. Then they each got to choose a sticker and put it into their sticker book. Class was over, they waved good-bye, and we went outside to put their shoes and coats on.

We left at 4:30, as the sun was already slowly setting. We had quite a walk back to the bus stop, and the kids all still wanted to eat snacks. We were lucky that we did not have to wait for the bus hardly at all, but there was already one stroller on it, so it was a challenge to all fit into it. Tammy and Emmy wanted out of the strollers, and there were seats for them to sit in.

By 5 pm we were back home. Emmy was pretty cranky, which was understandable given their short nap at lunch time. I decided to start making their food right away, and they got themselves some chairs to stand on in the kitchen, while I put food in front of them. Once I had cut everything up, we sat down at the table to eat. Tammy was just cranky and did not want to sit down nor to eat. Emmy ate just a little bit. I put their food on a plate, and we all went to the bathroom, where they couldn't get into the water fast enough. They really didn't eat anything else there, while Sammy ate everything on his plate. After having played a while, it was Tammy who wanted out first, Sammy went second, and Emmy last. By 6:15 they were all in bed, which is rather early. Randy sat down with them, and it didn't take that long for them to fall asleep. It sure works a lot better, when he sits there instead of me.

I got myself something to eat, ate, and then went back to work. Now I still have to do the cleanup, but I hope to be able to go to bed earlier rather than later again.
