HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 813. Last night I went to bed at 12:20. I was too tired to even finish writing my update. The girl came to join me in bed at some time, but it was a big surprise, when Emmy only came just after 7 am. That's never happened before. And of course there was no more sleeping then. Tammy woke up a few minutes later, and then I also got up just after they got up.
After breakfast we went downstairs, where I got their new Bibles out, and we read quite a few stories. It has beautiful drawings and stories we don't have in the other kids' Bibles. When Randy came with his breakfast, I went upstairs, finished cleaning up, and sat down to do office work. At 9 am the Mobile Support lady came for the very last time. She stayed 90 minutes to play with them all. At 11 am Sonja arrived, and I slowly started cooking. At noon I called them all upstairs to eat.
Tammy ate nothing, while Emmy ate a little bit. They went into the bathtub, where Emmy got his puddings, and Tammy was upset that she didn't get any. And I fed Sammy his special pudding. After a while we got them all out. The boys went to bed, and Sonja went downstairs with Tammy.
Emmy was giving us a very hard time. I tried for a while, then Randy did, then I came back to try to get him to sleep. He was getting pretty tired. I finally held him down against his will, he stopped struggling, and was soon asleep. It was already 1:30, and so it was time for Tammy to come up. It took her some time before she was asleep as well. And then it wasn't long until Sammy was awake again, and I took him downstairs to Sonja. Emmy slept longer than usual, and then I took him downstairs. As for Tammy, I actually woke her up at 3:45 pm and then took her downstairs. She was so cranky, she wanted to stay on my chest, and so I stayed downstairs for a little while, holding her. It wasn't easy, as Emmy wanted me to stay as well, and so I stayed longer than planned. Sonja had to leave at 4:30, and when I saw an opportunity to sleep out a little later, I did. I did some housework upstairs and then started making their dinner. At 5:45 I went downstairs and encouraged them to help me tidy up. I got them both to put a few things on the shelves. It wasn't much, but it was something. When we went upstairs to eat, Emmy immediately reminded me of their money, and so I gave them 10c each that they happily put into their piggy banks.
Tammy and Emmy both ate all their soup, but Tammy didn't eat anything else, while Emmy ate the salami of his bread. They got up to go to the bathtub, and I combined their food onto a plate that I took there as well. They ate nearly all the bread there, but not much of the fruit. Sammy ate all his bread, but not all his fruit, but I was just glad about what he had eaten, as he had been pretty cranky at the table.
Then they all came out and went to bed. And another tough time of trying to get them to sleep started. Randy was there first, then me, then him again, then me. Sammy fell asleep first, then Tammy, but Emmy was still fighting sleep. We tried everything. Randy ended up being the last one with him until he fell asleep.
I got myself something to eat, ate, and went back to work. Randy went to bed early, as he's still not feeling well. I just have some cleanup left to do and then I'll go to bed early too.
By the way, today was the first day of the unvaccinated being in lockdown, only allowed to leave the house for essential things. Their dance class has been canceled, as the teacher does not want to take any risks as she's pregnant. It's a shame. All the kids can do now is go to a playground, but with the sun going down so early, that's only possible in the morning.
