HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 862. Last night I headed to bed just after midnight. Tammy was lying next to Randy, and she's a rather restless sleeper. Emmy stirred but stayed in his bed until the early morning hours. Just after 6 am they were up for good, and at 6:30 I got up as well. We fed the cats, then I made breakfast for them, and we sat down to eat. Bread with cheese, watermelon, pineapple, and they ate some of my oatmeal with milk. Then I took them to the bathroom to clean them up and dress them, before we sat down to read a Bible story.
I went to the back to work, with a lot to get done right now. I made good progress, being undisturbed for much of the time, and no kid on my lap this morning watching videos. They were busy with Margit, visiting the sheep first, and Randy was also done with his project and able to be with Sammy, who wants to be with Daddy the whole time. As we had leftovers from yesterday, I was able to work until just before noon.
I warmed up the food, and we sat down to eat at noon. Sammy ate the most again, and also the most yoghurt. Then they went to the bathtub to get cleaned up, and then dressed to lie down for a nap. It's always around 12:40. Sammy fell asleep fast, while his siblings were playing hard, until we reigned them in. Around 1 pm they fell asleep as well, and I did too. Half an hour later I woke up and got up to get back to work.
Around 2:30 Emmy was stirring, and I tried to get him to lie back down and sleep. Sammy had woken up, and so I took him to Randy. When I returned, I lay down with Tammy and Emmy and was able to get them to go back to sleep that way. I was even able to get up after a few minutes without them waking up again.
But not for long. At 3 pm Emmy was up for good and went to be with Randy. It was half an hour later that Tammy woke up and sat on my lap resting for a while, before she also went to the living room. I had a lot of work to get done and made good progress, even with the kids coming and going. Fanta came over to do the dishes and wash the floor, and Sammy particularly likes her. He'd be on the floor and constantly call her name, and she'd respond. And she loves holding him and interacting with him. The other two spent most of their time playing with Margit and little Amaga in the living room.
It wasn't even 5 pm, when Tammy already came asking for food. Amadou had already bought tonight's bread, and so I finally gave in to her begging and gave her bread with cheese. Emmy then also wanted some, and they also wanted salami that we still had a little off. It was 5:45, when we all sat down at the table to eat. We also had pineapple and watermelon, though the watermelon season has come to an end, as well as yoghurt. After they had taken their first medicine, they went to the bathtub, where they were having fun. Sammy was upset, when we ended the fun by taking him out. We put their pj's on, gave them their second medicine and candy as a reward, brushed their teeth, prayed for them, and then it was bedtime. Sammy was cxrying a lot today, and it took him a while to fall asleep. Tammy and Emmy fell asleep around 7:45 pm, and then I was able to get up and get myself something to eat, eat, and go back to work. I'm more tired than usual tonight and hope to go to bed really soon.
By the way, the other two pictures show how Tammy and Emmy enjoy provoking the cats who usually take flight, though sometimes they hit them to defend themselves.
