Day 869. Last night I headed to bed at 10:30. Tammy had vomited 9 times since 7 pm, the last time in her sleep without waking up. She vomited one more time a little later, a round 10 times. The washing machine is going non-stop today. Tammy is always a restless sleeper, and she lay right next to my face all night. Thankfully Emmy only came at 4:30. By 6 they were up, and we got up around 6:15.

I was still feeling as bad as last night. It was so dark this morning that I turned the lights in the kitchen on. It was also pretty cold, but I've been freezing all day. I just made oatmeal with milk and got the leftover bread out. Someone had also suggested coke without carbonation, so I had opened a little bottle last night and gave some to Tammy, and then Emmy also wanted some. Nobody ate much, just a little bit of everything. Thankfully Tammy has been fine all day, you can't even tell what her evening was like yesterday.  It was Randy who feld bad this morning. Did we eat something bad again? But then why are Emmy and Sammy not affected? It's mysterious, especially how very bad I feel. I stayed in bed all day until 3:30 pm today, simply because I couldn't stay on my feet and hardly open my eyes. Obviously I had to get up and cook and give them their food at lunch time, but I didn't want to  eat myself, not having eaten anything since lunch time yesterday. When I did eat a few spoonfuls of soup at 3:30, the freezing cold went away, and now I'm hot.

After breakfast I did clean them up, and then Randy dressed them as I lay down. Just before 10 am Margit came over. Emmy had been asking for her all morning already. They went outside to see the animals for a few minutes. When she returned, she called Air France, as she's still trying to get out of Mali before the 18th. They told her to call again tomorrow, as there are no departing flights today. They also said that they don't know yet whether tomorrow's flights wil lbe canceled or not, and that's when we're scheduled to leave.

At 10:30 I went to the kitchen to make the soup, and it wasn't easy. By 11 I was done and lay back down, until just before noon, when I got up to give them their food. They didn't eat much. No bathtub time today. I just cleaned them off in the sink, and then we dressed them, and it was nap time. We lay down at 12:45 pm. I was so cold I covered up as much as possible. I was shocked, when Tammy fell asleep right away, and five minutes later Emmy. That's unheard of! Maybe they don't feel so well after all. And then we all slept until 3:15. That's when my phone rang, and then Sammy was awake. I got up to take him to  Randy, and then the other two woke up as well.

Margit came a few minutes later to play with the kids. I had some soup and turned the computer on. I also took some headache medication. Then I started working. Soon I felt energy returning, and I stopped freezing. For much of the time until dinner I had Tammy on my lap who was watching videos, while I was working. Emmy also joined her for a little bit. Then Paul called that his contact at the airport had called him, saying that the flights were leaving tomorrow.

At 5:30 I went to the kitchen to start getting dinner ready. I felt a lot better at that point. At 5:50 we sat down to eat. Nobody ate very much. Then I took them to the bathtub; it wasn't long before Emmy wanted out, so everyone came out rather quickly tonight. It was after 7 pm before everyone was in bed. I had just had emails from Air France that I wanted to look at. It turns out that now our trip ends in Amsterdam. They didn't even book us on a flight to Vienna from there!!! I'll have to call them in the morning. I lay down with the kids, and by 7:30 Emmy was asleep and a few minutes later Tammy.

I went to the living room to call Paul and arranged for the doctor to come back tomorrow morning to do another PCR test so we still have a valid one when arriving in Austria. Then I got myself something to eat, ate, and went back to work. It sure looks like we'll be leaving tomorrow night, but right now we have no idea, when we'll be arriving in Austria.
