Day 854. Last night I went to bed just after midnight. Both kids were in our bed, and Randy was already turned around, so we'd all have more room. I had just changed the sheets three times in a row because of Tammy vomitting again and again. And then she woke up, rose up, and vomitted an eighth time. At least I was able to catch most with a tissue, as it wasn't that much, and we were all able to continue sleeping.

But it was a rough night for me. Tammy was waking up frequently, wanting to drink, and I finally let her, and thankfully, she was keeping the water down after that. It was Emmy who was up at 7 am, and so we were all up a few minutes later.

We fed the cat, and I started making breakfast. Randy changed their diapers, and then we sat down to eat. Tammy had already vomitted once today at that point. She only had a few bites of watermelon and some milk. After breakfast, while I was still putting stuff away, they saw Amadou outside, taking care of his chickens. There were five guinea fowls walking around outside that were making a lot of noise. Amadou said that they had just flown in and made a stop on our base. I asked him to give me the advent calendars that were still hanging on the outside of our house, when Tammy vomitted her second time this morning. I cleaned her up and gave her a new dress. Then they reminded me that we hadn't read the Bible yet. We sat down and read a story together.

Then I went to the back to work. I wasn't able to close my door for more than 10 minutes at the max. Tammy and Emmy were both coming and going, and then Tammy wanted to lie down, so I let her. Emmy stayed around at first, but then left, and Tammy actually fell asleep.

I was working on the many pictures of yesterday's Kids Party, when I finally got so tired after yesterday's rough night, that I lay down next to Tammy at 10:30 and stayed there nearly an hour, which is when Randy came in to change Emmy's diaper. I did some more work, put the soup on the stove to warm up, and then Emmy sat on my lap, while I was working, until Emmy decided he wanted to wake his sister up just before noon. It was time to eat anyway. By then I had also heard from the doctor who told me what to buy at the pharmacy for her.

Tammy already resisted taking her clothes off to eat and did not want to sit in her chair or even in my lap. She was not gonna eat anything, but did drink some milk. Emmy went into his chair, but also refused to eat. He said that his belly was hurting. Both of them have diarrhea today. Sammy did not want to eat either, but he was just tired, just like yesterday, and so I put him to bed, while his siblings were looking at the animals outside and running around.

After Randy and I had finished eating, we took Tammy and Emmy to the back to put them to bed. It was 12:45. Just after 1 pm Emmy was asleep, and I was surprised that Tammy was ready to go to sleep again as well, even though she had slept long in the morning. I was lying between them. Once Tammy was asleep as well, I got up, but the main reason was that Sammy was crying to get out of bed. He had only slept half an hour, as his siblings had made too much noise when they came to bed. You know once he won't go back to sleep. Randy was not too excited  to not have his kid-free lunch break. As for me, I went back to work, and when Emmy raised up, I made sure he went back to sleep.

A while later he woke up again, but he did not want to stay in bed, even with me, but for me to hold him. So I sat down by my desk, and he continued sleeping on me, while I was working at the same time. He was hurting, probably his belly. At 4:10 pm Tammy woke up, and then Emmy got up as well.

Margit was here and playing with whoever came to her. They were still coming and going to where I was working. Sammy was cranky, having only slept half an hour. Tammy and Emmy wanted to watch animals, but Emmy didn't stay long. I got Sammy to cheer him up, and put him next to his sister on the floor, but watching videos is not his thing. He was more interested in exploring his surrounding, especially with Fanta cleaning the bathrooms. She then picked him up and played a little with him.

I continued working until 5:30 and then went to the kitchen to start making dinner. Tammy was herself again, having lots of fun. When we sat down to eat, she didn't really want to eat and only had some watermelon, not even a yoghurt. Emmy didn't want to eat either, and then Sammy threw up right there, while sitting in his chair. Surprisingly he continued eating after that.

They went into the bathtub, where they were having fun, then we got them ready for bed. I had just put Sammy to bed, when he threw up all the yoghurt he had eaten. I cleaned him up, and Randy changed their sheet. Emmy was already lying down. I had put oil on their bellies, and Emmy had put his hand there and then rubbed his eyes and was screaming, as his eyes were burning from the oil. I put some fatty oil on his eyes, which is the antidote, but it still took a little time before the pain subsided. After that he stayed in bed, lying down, ready to sleep. Tammy was still very active. Emmy was asleep by 7:45, but Tammy still needed a little longer, then she was also asleep, and I was able to get up, eat, and get to work.

Randy is also feeling terrible tonight and has vomitted. Maybe it's the leftover chicken from Christmas I made soup with, who knows. My  belly is not feeling all that great either.
