HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 876. Last night I went to bed at 11:40 pm. Emmy was in our bed, as that was the only way he stopped crying and let me leave to finish up. I tried to take him back to his bed, but he wouldn't let me, and so he stayed in bed with us. Later in the night Tammy joined us as well . One time I got up and moved Emmy back to his own bed, while Tammy was awake enough to protest. Emmy returned in the early morning hours. Today he got up just after 7 am, and so we all got up around 7:30, after Tammy had woken up.
I made breakfast for everyone, and we sat down to eat. After breakfast I cleaned them up and dressed them, and we went downstairs, where we read the Bible together. Then Randy came, and I went upstairs to clean up. I spent a lot of time giving the dining room a deep clean, which was much-needed. I was glad, when I was finally able to sit down and turn my computer on to work at least for a little while. Around 10:30 Emmy started crying for me at the bottom of the stairs. At first I ignored him, but eventually I started responding, and then I went downstairs to hold him and comfort him. He wasn't happy, when I walked away again. At 11 am I started making lunch. It wasn't 11:30 yet, when I went downstairs again, as Emmy was STILL crying for me. I opened the gate and let them come upstairs. I knew that Sonja was on the way and would get here any moment, and I told them that. When the doorbell rang, they were so very excited. They went to the door and outside to welcome Sonja after not having seen her for nearly two months. Then they happily went downstairs with her.
At noon they all came upstairs to eat. Everybody ate today, thank God. Then Emmy wanted to go to the bathtub, and so they all did. He kept calling for Sonja to come, which she did. Then I put the boys to bed, while Sonja went downstairs with Tammy. It was 12:45. Emmy wanted me to hold him and fell asleep in my arms pretty quickly. I put him to bed and walked away, with Sammy still being up. At 1 pm Randy went to get Tammy and put her to bed, and she also fell asleep quickly.
I continued working. At 2:25 pm I heard Sammy cry. When Randy went in there, he found Emmy sitting in his bed and took him downstairs. Then he went to get Sammy, but he wasn't quite ready yet to be passed on to Sonja. He wanted to stay with Daddy for a few minutes. At 3 pm Tammy woke up, and I took her downstairs with their snacks. Then I went back to work. At some point I got to tired that I closed my eyes. I fell asleep, and when I opened my eyes again, it was 5:10 pm.
I got up and started making their dinner, which takes me about half an hour. Then I went downstairs. I found Sonja twirling Emmy around, much to his delight. I told them it was time to tidy up. It was the first time in a long time, and I was surprised to see them both get to work and actually putting stuff up. And that way we were done in no time.
We went upstairs and sat down to eat, then they went into the bathtub. Emmy was having lots of fun with Sonja, and Sammy was enjoying playing with the faucet, while I was holding him. Then we got them out and ready for bed, and it wasn't even 7 pm yet, when they were all in bed. I sat down by their beds. I stayed there a long time before I asked Randy to take my place. I went to the kitchen and started cutting up my salad, which takes a while. Then I sat down and enjoyed my salad that I hadn't had in so long. After having eaten I went back to work. It was nice that they were all asleep tonight. That is until Randy went to bed at 11 pm, and I turned the ocean sounds off. Emmy woke up and started crying for me. I finally moved him to my bed, but after half an hour he started crying again, and his crying woke Tammy up, and so right now they're both crying and I'd better go to bed.
