HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 880. Last night I headed to bed at 12:30, but I couldn't go straight to sleep. Tammy was awake, wanting milk, and then running to my bed, but I took her back to her bed, and she wanted me to stay there, so I did for a while. I had already successfully moved Emmy from my bed to his. And so it was after 1 am, when I went to bed. At some point during the night both kids came back to our bed. It was 7:50, when they got up this morning, and then we all got up.
I made breakfast, and we sat down to eat. Then I cleaned them up and dressed them, and we went downstairs, where I started praying. Today it was Tammy who immediately wanted into my arms, so I'd pray for her, so I picked her up and did. Then Randy already arrived, and I went upstairs to work.
I put a chicken into the oven, cleaned up and turned the computer on to work. At 11:20 I stopped and went to the kitchen to cook. Just before noon Randy came upstairs with everyone, before I could even call him. We sat down to eat. Emmy ate all his vegetable rice, while Tammy was just playing around. Neither one ate any chicken. Sammy ate everything on his plate. He's becoming the biggest eater! Then they had cake and pudding. I cleaned them up, and Randy went downstairs, while I sat down by the boys after putting them into their beds. Before Tammy was gone, she still riled the boys up, and so they were both wide awake. I tried hard to get them to sleep, and finally Sammy did, some time close to 1 pm. Emmy did not fall asleep. And then he started asking for Daddy, so I went downstairs to take his place with Tammy, and he went upstairs to sit by Emmy. When I had not heard from him by 1:15, Tammy and I went upstairs. It looked like Randy was asleep, while Emmy was still awake. I put Tammy to bed, but they immediately started playing, so that was not gonna work. I lay down with Emmy for a few minutes, but Tammy was calling me. So I put him to bed and got Tammy, then put her to bed again. Emmy finally fell asleep around 1:30. It took Tammy until 2 pm. Sammy and Emmy woke up at 2:50 and went downstairs with Randy. Half an hour later Tammy also woke up already and wanted to go downstairs. I took her there and then returned to get my computer, when she was already crying for me on the bottom of the stairs. I went downstairs and held her for a while. Then she wanted to go into the swing. After a few minutes, Emmy wanted to join her in there, and she had nothing against it, and so they enjoyed the swing together.
They also drove their cars up and down, and Tammy wanted to draw, so they did for a few minutes. She always wants to watch babies, so I let her watch YouTube videos of babies for a while. Sammy and Emmy both sat on my lap for a while - separately and at the same time. Most of the time Sammy was with Randy, who walked with him and did exercises with him and occupied him. Randy also tidied up by himself, so today I never came back down to tidy up with them.
At 5:30 I tried to slip away and go upstairs to make their dinner, but Emmy noticed immediately and came running after me and walked up the stairs with me. It didn't take long for Tammy to notice and so I had to let her come up as well. They both pulled chairs up in the kitchen to stand on, and I put their plates in front of them, and they ate what they liked that I put on their plates. Then Randy and Sammy came up as well, and we all sat down at the table to eat. Once everyone was done, they went into the bathtub, where they were having fun. Sammy came out first, which he did not like at all, and then the others came out. We got them ready for bed and then I put them to bed after praying for them. We also prayed for two sick friends together. It was once again just after 6:30, so rather early. I sat down by their beds and stayed there a long time. Then Randy took my seat for a few minutes. Tammy was calling for me the whole time, so I finally came back. Emmy was nearly asleep by that time. I had to put Sammy back into sleeping position, where he then stayed and fell asleep. And Tammy didn't need much longer either.
I got myself something to eat, ate, and then went back to work. I finally feel like I'm making some progress catching up on work, even though there is still a lot of stuff I'm trying to get done. Now it's after 11 pm, and Emmy hasn't come crying for me yet.
