HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 856. Last night I headed to bed after 9:30 pm because I was so miserable, but I didn't get to sleep in a while. Our bedroom door has issues, and we need to lock it at night so it stays closed. If we just close it, the cats can open it and come in. Since Randy hadn't gone to bed yet, I couldn't lock the door, and so it wasn't long before the cats came in. I had to get up, get them out of the room and ask Randy to lock the door from the outside. Emmy woke up from all the commotion and climbed into our bed, where Tammy already was. Now I had two kids in bed with me, which makes sleeping hard. And ever so often they ask me for milk that I have to hand to them.
Randy went to bed not much later. We had all just fallen asleep, when Tammy woke up vomitting the milk she'd had. I cleaned her up, we gave her as suppository against vomitting, and I had to change the sheets. Then we went back to bed. Sammy was the only one sleeping through it all. During the rest of the night I would not give her milk, just water, and she'd be really upset about it. So once again, I was woken up frequently all night long. Emmy was up at 6 am, and by 6:30 I got up as well. I took the boys to the kitchen with me, where we fed the cat, before I started making breakfast. Randy and Tammy got up a little after us.
I just made cereal today and got the fruit out. Tammy just wanted to drink milk, and Emmy also hardly ate anything. And then Tammy vomitted on the floor. Randy gave her a suppository after that. I cleaned them all up and dressed them, and then we went to the living room, where we read a Bible story together, and then I prayed for each one of them. Then I went to the back.
They keep saying how their bellies are hurting, and so is mine. Instead of turning the computer on, I lay down on the bed and Tammy joined me. When Emmy came, she got up. Then there was a coming and going, until I got up myself and finally dragged myself to the desk to work.
Just before 10 am Margit came, and everyone went outside to go see the animals. I could hear how much fun they were having.
With 11:30 approaching I went to the kitchen and put some rice and vegetables on. At noon we sat down to eat. Tammy did not want to eat and went straight to bed, though she did not stay there. Emmy hardly ate anything. Then we cleaned them up and dressed them, and by 12:30 they were in bed. Sammy fell asleep right away, and Tammy and Emmy also fell asleep quickly. After a few minutes I was already on my feet and able to go back to work.
Emmy rose up twice from his sleep. The second time it was just after 2 pm. Both times I got him to lie back down and continue sleeping, but the second time it woke up Sammy, who was up for good, and so I took him to Randy. He then rose up again, and I lay down with him. He was sleeping on my chest for a few minutes, until Randy knocked at the door as he had to change Sammy's diaper. I lay back down with him, but when he heard the sheep right outside our window, he wanted to see them. He was up for good now, and Tammy woke up in the process as well.
I was able to continue working, with lots of interruptions. I had Sammy quite a bit, and Tammy and Emmy were also coming and going. Tammy kept wanting to watch videos, but I didn't let her. They've been watching too much recently. Instead I gave her crayons and paper, and she did some drawing. They also wanted stickers, so I gave them stickers, and we also did the sticker books together.
Randy was working on the second kitchen cabinet that was coming off the wall, which is why I had Sammy so much. He was very cranky this afternoon. Fanta came over really late, at 5:15, and started doing the dishes right away. At 5:30 I started making dinner for everyone. The kids were already coming to me to get pineapple. When we sat down to eat before 6 pm, it was the first time I could put Tammy into her chair again, and she took a few bites of food here and there, same for Emmy. Once they were done, I took them to the bathtub, where they were having fun again tonight. Then we got them ready for bed, including giving them their diarrhea medicine.
It was 7 pm, before they were in bed tonight. Sammy did a lot of crying and needed a while to be comforted. Tammy and Emmy were rather tired, but talked with me, lying between them, for quite some time. By 7:30 they were asleep, and I was able to get up.
My belly is also still aching. Often the kids come to me, whiny, because of their aching bellies. And ,like the kids I still have bad diarrhea. I still got something to eat, and then went back to work, but I once again intend to go to bed early.
