Day 905. Last night I headed to bed just before midnight. Emmy crawled into bed with us pretty early, and I took him back into his bed a while later, when he was sleeping. Tammy also came and also got carried back a little later while asleep. They both returned in the early morning hours, but Emmy was up way too early at 6:30 today. I tried to encourage him to go back to sleep, and Randy tried to keep him from getting up and waking the others up. Around 7 the others were there too, and somehow we managed to stay in bed until 7:45 - only to find a big mess on the floor again, with them pulling stuff off the shelves.

I made breakfast, and we sat down to eat. Then Emmy went potty - Tammy didn't want to - and I cleaned them up and dressed them. Then we went downstairs. I opened all the blinds, took my vitamins, and Randy already came with his breakfast. 9 am was not far away, and so I went upstairs to wait for the new Mobile Support lady and open the door for her. We've been back for over a month but because of our quarantine, and then hers, her first time coming was delayed until now. The lady we had last year went on a sabbatical, which is why we have a new one.

The kids wanted to come upstairs with me, and so I let them. At 9 am the doorbell rang. They opened the door and curiously looked outside. They had to look for a long time as the lady had to find our appartment door, but in the end she did. She had her mask off at first so we could see her face one time, but then we all had to wear one. We all went downstairs, where Randy and Sammy were waiting for us. Sammy had no problem with the lady at all, but was immediately welcoming and friendly and open. I was amazed. It wasn't long that we found out that she is a believer and attends a Baptist church, which is pretty exciting. For me that explained it all. It was a whole different atmosphere than with the previous lady, and it excites me for what the future brings. Randy even told her his healing miracle story of his first day in Mali. I stayed for the first half hour to get to know her, and for her to get to know us, and then went upstairs to work. When she left at 10:30, I saw her off.  She'll be coming every Wednesday morning now.

Tomorrow Sammy has his weekly physiotherapy session, and so we were both gonna take a PCR test, as it's required for that. At 11:15 Tammy was crying hard on the bottom of the stairs, wanting to watch Barbapapa, and I finally went to bring her upstairs to comfort her. Of course then Emmy wanted to come too, and so I suggested to Randy they'd all come upstairs. I had already taken my test, and then Randy took his, and then he left to go drop them off, while I started cooking in the kitchen. I used the Echo Show to let them watch Barbapapa and Paw Patrol, while Sammy was having fun exploring what he could reach - including opening the freezer.

Randy returned, and just after noon we sat down to eat. They didn't eat very much, but then wanted to eat the Peppa Pig puddings that Randy had bought and they had seen. They are the same puddings as what they always eat, just with Peppa Pig pictures on top. Then Emmy went potty and succeeded, and after a long time Tammy decided to give it a shot, but did not succeed. Sammy went to bed first and was already sleep, when I put Emmy to bed at 12:50. He was playing around for quite some time, and Randy even came upstairs with Tammy, before he was asleep. By 1:15 he was finally asleep, and then Tammy could go to sleep. She had been pretty cranky for a while, so I figured she was tired with them having gotten up so early today, and by 1:25 she was also asleep, and I could walk away to go work on the computer.

Sammy woke up first, but had slept nearly 2 hours, which is unusually long for him. I found Randy in the chair by their beds, when I responded to his fussing, as he wanted out. Randy then picked him up and went downstairs with him. Emmy woke up in the process, and he also wanted to go downstairs, so I took him there. Tammy had opened her eyes, but I sat down by her, and she went back to sleep. Just before 3 pm she was calling for me, so I returned to the chair, and she got up and wanted to go downstairs. We took snacks with us.

I left them downstairs and went back upstairs to work, knowing it would not be long before they'd call me to come downstairs, and that's what happened. Tammy was still really cranky all afternoon and was often saying that her behind was hurting, even though it looks fine. In the course of the afternoon Tammy and Emmy were in the swing - separately - and they wanted to do some drawing, which they did. Sammy was in his walker at that time and came all the way up to them. Randy adjusted the walker today, which has made hit easier for him to use. Unfortunately he has to return it tomorrow, as he'll be trying out different walkers these next few months before getting his own.

Tammy wanted to watch Barbapapa again, especially when she was crying, and at one point I let them watch, though they watched Peppa Pig instead. I told Emmy not to touch the screen and that I would turn it off if he did, and that's what I had to do in the end, much to Tammy's dismay.

And then she wanted to go on a ride with their horses, which they hadn't done in a while, and they both rode around the room together. Then it was already time to go upstairs for dinner. They pulled chairs up to the kitchen counter and were impatient for me to put food on their plates in front of them. They started eating what I gave them, and once I was done, they went to the table to sit down and eat, though they didn't eat much any more. Emmy just got up and went into the bathtub all by himself. He did that for the first time a few days ago, when I didn't even know he could get in by himself, and he's been doing it since. I put their remaining food on a plate that I took to the bathtub, and they ended up eating it all, and so did Sammy, while having fun. Then we got them out one after another and got them ready for bed. Today I did not look at the clock at what time they were all in bed. I sat down by their beds for the daily ritual of them talking about the day and all kinds of things, and Tammy lying on my chest for a little while. After a while they wanted to give Daddy a kiss, so I called him over and they got up to do so. Then Emmy said he had a dirty diaper, which he's been doing every single night and not once has it been true, today not either. When they kept talking and getting up, my patience started to run out. I'd had enough and went to the kitchen to get my own food ready, with Randy already eating. I let Emmy whine and call me to come back. After Randy was done eating, he went to sit down with them. It was rather late, somewhere before 7 pm, before they were finally all asleep.

Randy's and my phone both died about the same time recently, and today Randy's new phone arrived. I set it up for him tonight, while working at the same time. My new phone arrives tomorrow - the second one as the first one didn't work out and was sent back. Now it's going on midnight, and I'm hoping to get to bed at a decent time, as I need to catch up on sleep bad.
