Day 891. Last night I headed to bed at 12:15 am. Emmy was fast asleep in my bed. I picked him up and put him into his own bed. Tammy came some time during the night, and then Emmy in the early morning hours. They were both sleeping, Tammy to my left and Emmy to my right, but Sammy was crying hard. Randy had given him milk, but it made no difference. In the morning he wants to come out of his bed and also join us, and he cries as long as it takes for him to achieve that. I finally did get up to get him, which woke Emmy up. Randy and Tammy continued sleeping for a while, while Sammy and Emmy were interacting, with Sammy on my chest and Emmy to my right. And then Emmy kept saying that Sammy should be gone, and I sternly corrected him. I guess he wanted me to himself. After a while Tammy woke up, and then they were all up and running, including Sammy. At 7:30 I also got up and went to the kitchen to make their breakfast.

After breakfast we went downstairs, where we read a Bible story together. Then Emmy wanted me to push him in his "boat", a plastic box. I told him he was a boat's captain today because of the achor on his body. And so I pushed him around for a while, but it was hard work to do so. Then Randy did another Covid test that he took away to hand in, and so I stayed with the kids until he returned. Once he was back, I took my computer upstairs to work there.

I was working, when I got a phone call that Sammy can come for a physiotherapy session at the center tomorrow already, instead of starting next week. As you have to have a negative PCR test to come, no matter your status, I had to do a test in case Randy's test is still positive. Just before 11:30 I went downstairs to let Randy know. We all went upstairs, where I started cooking, while Randy took my test to the dropbox. He returned just before the food was ready. Emmy kept asking for his food already.

We sat down to eat, and Tammy and Emmy could not get enough steak. I kept giving them more of mine. Then Tammy started eating her sweet potatoes. Emmy did not, and neither one of them wanted their mixed vegetables. Randy said that Sammy couldn't get enough of the sweet potatoes.

After their pudding it was time to clean them up and dress them. I had given Tammy a gummi bear for having eaten all the meat and potatoes, and so Emmy ate a pudding to also get a gummi bear, but I didn't give him one. He was upset. Then it was potty time, and Emmy tried hard to get a gummi bear for putting something into his potty, but he couldn't do it. He was crying so hard that I had pity on him and gave him a gummi bear. And then Tammy pooped into the potty and got a second gummi bear. I dressed them and put the boys to bed, while Randy went downstairs with Tammy.

Sammy was wide awake, and so it was Emmy who fell asleep first at 12:50. Sammy needed until 1 pm, and a few minutes later Randy came upstairs with Tammy. After a few minutes I sat down with her; she was pretty tired and soon fell asleep. I was very tired myself but returned to work.

It was 2:20 pm, when Sammy already woke up. I picked him up, and then Emmy was up too and then Tammy, all three. We all went downstairs, but when I tried to go back upstairs to work, Tammy was at the gate crying for me so hard that I took my computer downstairs to my desk. Tammy is always cranky, when she wakes up. When I came back downstairs, she lay down on my chest for a few minutes, then she brought me a book to read, one I had already read to her today. She then watched a few minutes of the corresponding cartoon with the same character as the one in the book. I returned to my desk, but I needed the calculator from my phone that Tammy was using to work.

It was snack time, and so Randy put Sammy into his standing machine to feed him there. The other two usually need a little time before they're interested in food. Sammy didn't really want to eat, and then he suddenly vomited his food back out. He didn't seem sick in any way before and after, and ate dinner normally.

It was a typical afternoon, with me trying to work and playing with them at the same time, constantly leaving my desk, pushing them high in the swing, or letting them use my phone to watch videos, or being on the floor with Sammy. Randy found another potty that looks more like a little toilet, and they were excited about it. And they played balloons together with Daddy at one point. It was after 5 pm, when the doorbell finally rang and the Amazon delivery arrived. The package that was for them contained another stick horse, so they could both ride them at the same time and not fight over it. But of course they fought over who would get the new horse. It took a while before Emmy finally picked up the "old" horse, and they both rode around together.

Randy had already tidied up, and so we all walked upstairs at 5:40. They pulled chairs up in the kitchen to stand on, and I put their plates in front of them that I put the food on. Once it was all there, everybody moved to the dining room table, where I added the soup to their plates. They had some food, but were soon up and running again. They took their diapers off to go use the potty. Emmy tried first and succeeded in pooping, and then it was Tammy's turn, and she also pooped into the potty. Good jobs, kids! They both got a gummi bear as a reward. Then they went into the bathtub, where they were all having fun. Sammy came out first, and then the other ones followed. We got them ready for bed, and by about 6:50 they were all in bed. I sat down by their beds, and Tammy of course wanted to lie on my chest again. Emmy was in his bed at first, but then also came to lie on my chest, together with his sister, for a while, until I put them back to bed. They kept talking and asking for milk, and Sammy was also awake. I stayed for a long time, until I'd had enough, and then Randy took my place for a few minutes, before I returned for Tammy's sake. It was Emmy who for some reason just would not fall asleep. It took him until nearly 8 pm. Randy had taken my place, after having eaten, and so I was making my food and then taking it downstairs with me. However, I had to leave my hot soup to go to Emmy's side and help him fall asleep.

After having eaten, I went back to work. At 10 pm Emmy already came to the gate, and I had to go upstairs to put him back to bed and help him fall asleep, before being able to return to work. Randy soon went to bed after that. Now it's my turn to do so soon.
