Day 1155. Today I set my alarm for 8:15 am as we had to leave the house at 9:30, which we did. We took the subway, then had a long walk to the school, where their music class is taking place. We got there by 9:52 and saw Grandma waiting there for us right away. The class was to start at 10:30, but Randy and I had a 10 am meeting with the psychologist at Sammy's center around the corner from there. I was glad Grandma agreed to help out. They enjoyed the book corner with her until 10:30, and then she did the class with them until we came back from our meeting.

We got to the center in time and sat down with the psychologist. She had seen Sammy three times to evaluate him, and today she presented her results and also had a few more questions of clarification. We spent just over half an hour with her. Then we returned to the school and joined the music class about 10 minutes after it had started, which was earlier than I had thought.

Grandma stayed for the whole class, and we all had fun.

I found out that the teacher had done the song with the kids on our laps with both Tammy and Emmy together. After we had arrived, she handed out sticks, and later sticks with bells on the end, and then she did a few songs with them, where they have to put the sticks together in different ways. I had Sammy with me for most of the time, as he wanted Mommy.

We also did some dancing, and Tammy ended up dancing with Grandma, while Emmy danced with Daddy. And we did the song, where they get to turn on the spot after their names are called. Today I filmed them. And the teacher got an instrument out today, and each kid got to play it for one song, which I also filmed. They did really well. After 50 minutes the class was over, and they got their stamp.

We put their shoes and coats back on and said good-bye to Grandma, who was going home. As for us, we started our long walk back to the subway. We had a short discussion and decided to go to McDonald's for lunch, as there's no swimming tomorrow and therefore no McDonald's. And so we rode a few extra stops on the subway, then got off and walked into the McDonald's right there. We found a nice table, and I went to order the food. Emmy and Tammy then joined me in picking up the food. Today they got two Smurf figurines and a good-night book. Every time they get new figurines, which is nice. Sammy was really hungry and ate more than one cheeseburger (without bread) - more than his siblings - while Tammy still refused to eat the meat. Surprisingly she did take a few bites of a chicken strip today. We were all having a great time there, and that alone is worth going there.

After we were done, we walked back to the subway and rode it home. It was nearly 1 pm, when we were back, and I put them straight to bed for their nap. I was extremely tired myself, when I sat down by them. Emmy fell asleep first, however, not so the other two. At one point I thought Sammy had fallen asleep, and so I walked away. But then I heard him laugh and laugh, which is what happens, when he's having fun with his sister. And in fact, he had turned around and was face to face with his sister in the neighboring bed. I moved his bed away, turned him back around, and sat down in the chair. It didn't take long for them to finally fall asleep.

I returned to my computer, but was so tired that I soon lay down for a nap myself. I was rudely awakened, when I heard Sammy whine for a long time. And then Emmy stood in my room. I finally got up to get Sammy and had both boys with me. A little while later Randy took them downstairs, and Tammy woke up as well and went with them. As for me, I had a 4 pm lesson scheduled, but it was canceled. However, I had lessons to prepare and did have a 5 pm lesson. After it as over, Randy and the kids already came upstairs. They had been outside, where they rode their scooters, but now they wanted to watch Superbook. As for Sammy, he was watching kids' songs, and I went to the kitchen to start making their dinner. It was after 7:30 before we were able to sit down at the table. Once again they had eaten an omelet in no time at all, and had had some salami, and they still ate some soup, and then ate their salami sandwich and fruit in the bathtub. And again Sammy had eaten really well.

Once they were all ready for bed, I looked at the clock, and it was already 7:45 pm. I had an 8 o'clock lesson, and so I needed to go downstairs with my computer. I quickly prayed for them all, and Randy had to be the one to brush their teeth and put them to bed. By the time I was teaching at 9 pm, they were all asleep. I went to the kitchen and started making my salad, which takes a while, as does eating it. Once I was done, I started working on today's pictures. Now it's nearly 1 am and time for bed.
