HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1179. No alarm this morning. But Emmy was up very early, and I tried to encourage him to sleep some more and let his siblings sleep. Eventually they woke up as well, and soon I could hear them all talk. At 9 am we also got up, made breakfast, and after breakfast we cleaned them up and dressed them. Then I took them downstairs, where we read a Bible story together. As Randy was still taking care of something, I put Sammy in the swing, which he greatly enjoys, but Randy doesn't usually let them swing. He had great fun. However, his siblings also wanted to swing, and I knew that Randy was coming back soon. So I got him out and put Emmy in. Sammy was upset and was crying really hard. Then I put Tammy in as well, but then Randy already returned, and I went upstairs to work.
It was already after 10, so I had only just over an hour left to get things done. I hadn't called Paul in a while, so that's what I did, and we talked for a long time, with Paul giving me updates on everything. After we were done, there was only little time left to work. Just before 11:30 I went to the kitchen to make lunch. At noon we sat down to eat, and they all loved the sweet potatoes. They all had icecream, then I cleaned them up and they went back to watching videos, while I was putting their clothes back on. At 1:15 it was nap time. It took some time, but just after 1:30 all three were asleep, with Tammy falling asleep last. I returned to my computer, but ended up closing my eyes only for a few minutes. Just before 2:30 Randy woke up Sammy to get him ready. Sammy was crying hard, but I was able to calm him down. We put his shoes and coat on, and then he started crying again, when I put him into the stroller, and Randy left with him crying. He had his weekly physiotherapy session, but today he actually saw the orthopedic doctor, as he needs new shoes, and the guy from the wheelchair company was also there to fit him for a wheelchair.
Before Sammy had left, all the noise had woken up Emmy who walked up to us. I put his socks and shoes on, and then Tammy woke up and joined us, and I got her ready for us to leave. We left the house at 2:45 to go to their dance class. We used to go on Tuesdays, but now we've switched to Thursday, the other option they have. Tammy was asking for Daddy, and I told her that he had gone with Sammy to his physiotherapy session. We took the subway and then the bus and got to the dancing school on time. We walked up to the top floor and were the first ones there for their class. It was only the second time they were there on a Thursday.
It's a 50 minute class, and today it was the worst in a long time in terms of their participation. They said they were tired, and Tammy kept whining about wanting Daddy. They did participate a little bit, some songs more than others. There was a drinking break, and as they had not eaten much before, they had some snacks as well.
They were glad, when the class was over, and we left to go home. We walked to the bus stop, took the bus, then walked to the subway and made a short stop at the bank. As soon as the class was over, they started asking to watch videos, but I told them no because of them not participating in the class. Eventually they gave up asking and were fine on the subway.
By 5 pm we were back home. The kids couldn't get downstairs to Daddy and Sammy fast enough. That was just fine with me, as it gave me some time until I went to the kitchen at 5:45 to start making their dinner. Time just goes by way too fast anyway. I started a little earlier in the kitchen as I had a lesson at 8 pm and didn't want to be so rushed to be done by then. Randy and the kids came upstairs, and they were watching Superbook. It was before 6:30 that we sat down to eat tonight. Then they continued eating in the bathtub, as well as having fun. We got them ready for bed, and by 7:30 we sat down for their bedtime story. Then I prayed for them, and they went to bed. I still had time to sit down with them. Then I saw the message that my lesson was canceled, and so I was able to simply stay put instead of leaving.
By around 8:15 Randy was done eating and took my place. They had already been asking for Daddy to come. I went to the kitchen and started making my salad, then sat down to eat at 9 pm. After I was done, I started working on today's pictures. Now it's after midnight and time to clean the kitchen and go to bed soon, as I have an early lesson tomorrow morning.
