Day 1199. It was a tough night last night as Emmy frequently came to me to lie down next to me, then went back to his bed and came back again, and so he kept waking me up. I had an alarm set for 8:30, and Randy got up just before that. I was pretty tired and took my time getting up. The kids got the three advent calendars we open in the morning and brought them to me, and then I opened them with them, each kid opening one. We were having fun. Then we were having breakfast, and then Randy got Sammy ready to leave and left at 9:30, while I went downstairs with the other two.

They immediately said they wanted me to pain their faces, and so I did. They wanted the same thing as last time, Tammy a rabbit, and Emmy a minion, and so that's what I did. Then Emmy wanted to swing, so he did first and then Tammy. They had been asking to watch something, and then I let them, while I was working on the computer. With 11:30 approaching we went upstairs, where they continued watching, while I went to the kitchen to make lunch. Randy and Sammy returned just before noon. Sammy likes the private physiotherapist and had fun. Randy took a little video of him climbing up the stairs.

The kids had wanted to eat pizza, and Randy had bought a family size pizza that I put into the oven. It was after noon before it was done, and we were able to sit down at the table and eat. Emmy ate well, while Tammy really didn't want to eat it at all. Sammy did alright, and they all ended up having some icecream. The kids wanted to continue watching, and I let them watch a few more minutes, but at 1 pm they needed to lie down for their nap as we needed to leave at 2 pm. The boys fell asleep first, and I walked away before Tammy was asleep.

I was very tired myself but ended up preparing for my 5 pm lesson instead of sleeping, which I should have done. A few minutes before 2 pm I got ready myself and then woke Randy and the kids up. They were dressed to go, so we only had to put their coats and shoes on and left just after 2 pm. We took the subway to the end and then walked to the school, where their exercise class was starting at 2:30 pm.  It was the first class of part 2 of this course, so nothing changed for us, but it was not the same kids. Emmy's girl-friend Luisa wasn't there, and he was disappointed. However the teacher's daughter was there who is about 8 years old, and Emmy kept interacting with her. He was having fun with her, and she even pulled Emmy around the room on the mat.

I had Sammy for most of the time who was also having fun. I was doing somersaults with him, and he just loved it and wanted to do them over and over again. He also loves the trampolin, so I had him on there a few times. And one time he crawled through the tunnel. He also climbed up and over the stepper and walked across the bench. When it was time to pick up the balls the teacher had thrown into the room, he grabbed them and Randy helped him put them back into the box. One time Emmy had so many balls he could not walk upright, and it was just hilarious to watch.

We also did a few songs with movements, and walking around the room. Tammy participated well, but Emmy not so much. They often ask me during the class whether they're behaving well, and I answer them honestly. In the end I told him no videos for him on the way home, which upset him. We dressed them again and left to walk to the subway, but before taking it we went into the grocery store right there. They each had a little basket with wheels and put the food into them. We didn't have a long list and soon stood in line at the cashier's. We took our groceries and headed to the subway. Emmy was pleading for grace, and I finally gave it to him. And so they were both watching videos on the way home, while I let Sammy push the door button.

We got home just after 4 pm, which was nice. I still had a little time until my lesson. I took the kids downstairs, and then went back upstairs when Randy came. Just before I was to start my lesson, I heard Emmy cry hard downstairs and Randy shouting. I went to check what was going on and found out that Emmy used the drumstick to plug Tammy's eyes out. Or rather he was about to, when Daddy stopped him. I talked to him and comforted him and then went upstairs for my lesson.

The kids came upstairs before I was done teaching. I finished and then let them watch Superbook, while I went to the kitchen to make their dinner. At 6:30 we sat down to eat, then they finished eating in the bathtub. We got them ready for bed, and then we opened the remaining two advent calendars with little books. I read both stories to them, then prayed for them and put them to bed. It was already 8 pm. I sat down by their beds and tonight I stayed until the boys were asleep and Tammy was close.  It was going on 9 pm, when I left to make my salad. I ate and then started working on today's pictures. Somehow I got distracted and it got late. It's nearly 2:30 am, and I still have to clean up the kitchen.
