HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1234. Once again I had to set my alarm for 8 am this morning, and once again I was very tired, when it went off. Tammy was actually still asleep, while Randy was changing the boys' diapers. After breakfast, before it was even 9 am, the cleaning lady arrived, thank God. I was dressing the kids, when the doorbell rang again. It was the Mobile Support lady who we hadn't seen in a month, at least. Emmy, who was already dressed, opened the door for her, and Tammy - just in diapers - also went outside our door, even though it was pretty cold out there. They were excited to see her again, and after talking with her a little bit, she went downstairs with the kids to spend the next 90 minutes with them, especially with Sammy. As for me, I took the time to tiday up so that the cleaning lady could clean better. It sure felt good for everything to be nice and tidy again.
The Mobile Support lady left at 10:30 am; by then I was already working on the computer. I continued working until 11:15, then I went to the kitchen to make lunch. The cleaning lady went downstairs some time before noon, and so Randy and the kids came upstairs. The food took a little longer to cook, and so it was 12:15 by the time we sat down to eat. Today everyone had icecream after the meal. As it was already going on 1 pm, there was no time for any more videos. It was time for bed since we needed to leave the house at 2 pm. It took a few minutes to get them to bed, and it took time to get them to sleep, too much time. Tammy and Sammy finally fell asleep, but pretty late, and ended up sleeping 15-20 minutes. Emmy never fell asleep. I sat in the chair by them nearly falling asleep myself, as I was so tired. Just before 2 pm I left to get ready, and Emmy followed me. Then we got the others up, and we left late, a good few minutes after 2 pm.
When we got to the subway, it was pretty annoying that we'd just missed a train. Only every other train goes to the final destination, and so we had to wait for 9 minutes, which meant arriving late. After we got off the subway, we walked to the school, then joined the other kids in the exercise class. We had missed the greeting song, and the warm-up was nearly over.
Yesterday the school had called me. A parent had complained that Sammy puts items into his mouth, and that parent also complained that our kids had come to class coughing. The school asked me to stay home, when they have a cold, and to wipe off the items Sammy puts into his mouth.
The teacher did an action song right after warm-up, then she set up different stations around the room for them to have fun at. She also had something new. She taped a rope on top of cones, and the kids had to step over the rope. Both Tammy and Emmy did it, and did a great job. I had Sammy sitting on the floor by me, and he got a cone that he put straight into his mouth. Then he saw the trampoline and crawled to it, and I put him on top and made him jump up and down, which made him laugh. Tammy got Daddy to put the rope around her, so she could be the horse and Daddy had to run after her around the room. I then did the same with Emmy, but Sammy did not like to be left alone. I then handed the ropes to Tammy, and together they had fun running around the room.
Then the stations were taken down, and we sat down on the mats. The teacher had the kids run around the room and quickly run to their parents every time the music stopped. Then she did an action song with the kids sitting down, before turning over the box with balls so the kids could pick them up and put them back into the box. She did that three times. Sammy crawled to the balls, and Randy then picked him up and carried him to the box, so he could put the balls in. The kids were having lots of fun. Then Emmy and Tammy decided to put all the cones into a circle, rather than doing the song everyone was doing. Sammy is getting pretty heavy to carry, and so I'd hand him to Randy, when my arms were getting tired, and I was glad that he was willing to stay at least for a short time with Randy today. I tried to get the other kids to participate in the song walking around the room, but to no avail.
Then the teacher got bubbles out, which was the first time ever, and all the kids sure enjoyed it. Of course our children wanted to blow them themselves. I was holding Sammy and the bottle, while Emmy put the wand into the bottle I was holding. Randy did the same with Tammy, and Sammy was enjoying the bubbles coming his way. Then we did the caroussel song, and then the good-bye song, and the class was over.
We put their coats and shoes back on, put them back into the stroller, and gave them the food and drink they were asking for. We made our way back to the subway and got on the train that was sitting their waiting for departure. The kids wanted to watch something, but they had not behaved that well in class. Sammy wanted to push the door button, and I let him after a few stops.
Just before 4 pm we got home, and I rushed to get everything ready for my 4 pm class, while Randy went downstairs with the kids. I then had another student and taught until just before 6 pm. Then I went to the kitchen to start making their dinner, and Randy and the kids came upstairs. At 6:30 we sat down at the table to eat, then they continued eating in the bathtub. Emmy is still very protective of his hand and claiming that he cannot use it, but he does use it more now, probably without even being aware of it. In the water the dead skin turned white, and I told him it was just gonna fall off. I then told them about snakes shedding their skin regularly, and after they got out of the water, I showed them a video of a snake doing it. They were very interested, but I don't know if it helped Emmy any. I read them a bedtime story, prayed for them and put them to bed. It was 8 pm. Randy had already finished eating, and so I soon left them to cut up my salad. While Tammy and Sammy had asked for Daddy, Emmy was not happy and crying because Mommy was leaving. I left anyway. After a while he stopped crying, and having had short or no naps, they all fell asleep faster than usual. I sat down to eat, watched the news, and then started working on today's pictures. Now it's after 1 am and time to clean the kitchen and go to bed.
