Day 1295. Yesterday was a Sunday, and we were planning to go to church in the afternoon. However, in the morning it already became obvious that Tammy was not feeling well. At nap time, Sammy got up after about an hour, as usual, while the other two slept really long. Emmy had slept over 3 hours, when I finally opened the curtains, and he woke up. He wasn't feeling well and had diarrhea for the second and third day, and it was his worst day. Tammy was clearly having a fever by then and not feeling well at all. She lay down in bed next to me, while I was working, and slept for much of the afternoon there, with only a short break, where she was watching something. Emmy also stayed in bed and was watching Sam, the firefighter. When it was time to eat, they didn't really want to. Sammy at the most, while Tammy was asleep. They did not go into the bathtub. I just washed them, then we put their pj's on, I prayed for them and put them to bed. I then allowed Emmy to continue watching videos, as he'd slept so long in the afternoon. Once Tammy woke up, with quite a fever, we gave her a suppository and put her pj's on, and I then let her watch for a while as well, until I turned all the devices off so they'd go to sleep.

It turned out to be rough night. Emmy came and left quite a few times, and so did Tammy. Just before 3:30, after she had returned to her own bed, she vomitted all over her bed and pj's. I got up to change her sheets and give her a new pj, then she went back to sleep. Of course her brothers had woken up as well from the commotion. In the morning Emmy kept bothering me, as usual, and was crying, when I asked him to turn the light back off, as it was way too early and his siblings were asleep. He doesn't like walking to the squeezies to pick one in the dark. When Randy got up, he brought a squeezie with him to the crying baby lying in bed next to me. He was also crying because he had lost his pacifier, and Randy brought one of those as well.

As you can imagine, we were pretty tired this morning, after such a rough night. And so we got up later as usual. They didn't want to eat anyway. However, everyone was feeling better today, so thank you for praying. At one point Sammy's body was a little hot too, but it didn't last long, and the only thing I noticed was that he ate less than usual.

It was after 10 am, and everyone was still upstairs, and I was still dressing them. Just before 10:30 they were ready to go downstairs, but they wanted to help me cook, and so I decided to get started on the soup right there and then. The ingredients were already all cut, so it wasn't gonna take long. I put the big pot on the stove, and the kids slid two chairs there to stand on. Emmy was very cautious as he had burned himself bad in December. Tammy was putting the ingredients in, and both of them were stirring. It didn't take very long until it was all time. Now it just had to simmer until lunchtime. They finally went downstairs to join Daddy and Sammy.

It was 11 am and pretty late to get started on my work. Today they came upstairs a little later than usual,  and at noon we all sat down to eat. They ate more than yesterday, except for Sammy. Just before 12:30 they started watching their videos, while Randy left for a pickup, and I sat back down at my computer to work. At 1:15 I put them to bed for their nap and sat down by them. I was thankful that they fell asleep quickly and was able to leave by 1:30 to go to bed myself. However, it takes me a while to fall asleep, and I never did all the way. At 2:20 my timer went off, and I quickly turned it off before it could wake anyone up. I got up and ready for my 2:30 student. I started teaching and soon heard Randy returning home, which was just at the right time as Sammy had woken up. Emmy then woke up too and came into my room, and soon Tammy was up as well. They eventually all went downstairs. As for me, I taught for three hours in a row. In the morning I had received a text message that the  PE teacher was sick, so no class tonight. That meant no rushing to leave the house once I finished teaching at 5:20 pm. Instead I was able to keep working. The kids soon came upstairs to watch videos or play, and after 6 pm I went to the kitchen to make some food for them. They didn't eat as much as usual, but more than yesterday. And they went into the bathtub again. Then we got them out and ready for bed, and I sat down with them to read them Bible stories, something we didn't do last night. I then prayed for them and put them to bed. It was their regular bed time, just after 8 pm, and especially Tammy did not want to sleep yet. She was fussing for quite some time, and it took until nearly 9 am before it finally got quiet.

I stayed with them at first, then Randy took my place, and I got myself something to eat. After having eaten I continued working. Now it's approaching 1 am, and it's time to go to bed. It's a long day tomorrow, and we leave the day after.
