Day 1385. I was going to not take pictures (or hardly any) and not write a report, but here I am. It was just too cute, when Randy was holding Emmy in his arms, and they were both raising their hands up to God in worship.

We were at home all day and were only able to leave the house just after 4:30 to take the 4:50 train, which is the latest we can leave. We got to church at 5:30, half an hour after the service had started, but it starts with announcements. Sammy was really happy to see Anna after having mentioned her name all day long, but curiously, then he wanted to be with me, so she handed him back to me. We stayed in the service for just over 15 minutes. Tammy wanted to have streamers to dance with and got some. Sammy stayed with me and was just hugging me. Then I put him back into his chair and we took the elevator up to the area of the children's rooms.

It was my turn to stay with the kids, so Randy returned to the sanctuary. Sammy wanted to play in the kitchen as usual, while Tammy found the dolls to play with. At 6 pm we sat down for the program that lasts about 15 minutes.

Today it was all about having a heart that hears God's voice. It didn't take long for Sammy to ask to go eat, but today I was able to keep him with the others until the teaching was over.

Then everyone sat down to eat, and Sammy sat down by the boxes to explore them, while I was putting food into his mouth. Emmy went to explore the simple square drum and enjoyed banging on it, as did Sammy later.

After they had eaten a few bites, they got up to play. Tammy was eager to do the crafts that had been announced and was the first one to ask to do them. She glued two ears on a heart and then colored it, and so did Emmy. Then Emmy left to play again, while Tammy stayed at it until the end. Sammy finished all his food. After having taken a lot of duplos out of the boxes, he started putting them all back in and saying "Anna". He was ready to return to the sanctuary to see her, but Randy hadn't returned yet, even though it was nearly 7pm. Sammy then went to the drum to play it and didn't want to leave there until Daddy had returned, so he could show him how well he was playing it. At 7 pm he came, and then I put him into the chair, and I left with the boys to take the elevator down.

Walking into the sanctuary, Anna heard us and came to us, then we walked into the lobby to not disturb the ongoing service. Sammy wanted to be with her, and so Anna held him for a while, while the other two were running around and laughing. Then we decided it was time to go home. We put their jackets on and left to walk to the tram stop.

When we got there, the board said that it was over 15 minutes unil our tram would arrive. We sat down on a step, and the kids started watching videos while eating. We waited for about 20 minutes, then rode the tram to the train station and only had a few minutes to wait for the 8 pm train. By 8:15 we were back home.

We got them ready for bed, and just after 8:30 they were all in bed, and I sat down by them. By 9 pm Randy took my place before anyone was asleep. It took some encouraging them to sleep before they finally did.

I got myself something to eat, then started working on the pictures and some other stuff. Now it's not even 1 am, so there's hope I'm making it to bed earlier tonight.
