Day 927. Last night I headed to bed at 12:40 am. At 3:30 am Emmy came, but it's all a blurr now. Not long after 6 am they were up and running one after another. I finally picked up a crying Sammy and put him in our bed, while the other two were already running around. But Sammy was really cranky this morning. He didn't even like it, when I put him on the ground, which he usually does. At 7:30 I got up to make breakfast.

We sat down at the table to eat, but Emmy ate nothing at all, and Tammy little. Then I cleaned them up and dressed them, and then the doorbell ran already. I thought it was Grandma, but it was a delivery. They were disappointed. A few minutes later it was actually Grandma, and they were excited to see her.

We all went downstairs together, and they started playing with Grandma. She had brought a few bags full of stuff for the kids from my brother, and we dumped the bag of stuffed animals on the floor. It was paradise for them! They started going through them all and got excited again and again. Especially when they found two Paw Patrol ones. Grandma had also brought a book that she was reading to them. And Emmy wanted to go in the swing, and Grandma pushed him.

At 10:30 Sonja arrived, and just before 11 Grandma said her good-byes. Emmy really wanted to do some drawing bad, and so Sonja got everything out, and all three started drawing. Sammy has really been drawing well, and the other two have also improved. With 11:30 approaching I went upstairs to the kitchen to put some food in the oven, then came back downstairs to my desk for a few more minutes. I had been able to get some work done in the morning, sitting at my desk and watching and hearing them.

At noon I called everyone upstairs to eat. Once again Emmy didn't want to eat and ate hardly anything. Tammy ate a little more. Both of them liked the steak on Daddy's plate but not the chicken on their plates. After I got them to take a few more bites, they all had some pudding. Then I cleaned them up, we dressed them, and the boys went to bed for their nap. I put Emmy down at 12:50, then ran around doing a few things before coming back to sit by him. When I returned, Emmy was already falling asleep, even without me, so I only stayed for about a minute. Sammy then also fell asleep. Tammy came upstairs just after 1 pm. I put her to bed, tucked her in, and walked away, like I've been doing recently. However, it was not working today. She got up and started walking around. I finally lay her in our bed with me, and it looked like she was falling asleep. So I finally got up to move her to her own bed. However, she threw a fit, didn't want to lie down in her bed, and started running around. I'm amazed that the boys didn't wake up for the longest time. At 2 pm she went straight to Emmy to wake him up, and so he went downstairs to be with Sonja. I grabbed Tammy again to lie down with her. She calmed down and got really sleepy. At 2:10 I put her into her own bed - with her permission - and ten minutes later she was asleep. As for me I was so very tired that I lay back down and closed my eyes. At 2:35 Randy woke up Sammy, who always sleeps the longest the day he has to get up and go to physiotherapy. Randy dressed him, and they left together.

Sammy had already had a walker for two weeks one time, and today another company came to give him their walker to try for two weeks. It looks very different from the last ones. At first it's always difficult to use, but we'll see how he does as he continues to use it.

I fell asleep, which I needed very much, and woke up, when Tammy walked into the room at 3:45. I felt like a bus had rolled over me. I got up, grabbed some snacks and took her downstairs. Then I returned upstairs to get to work. The sun was shining outside, even though it was cold, and since Tammy and Emmy did not go anywhere yesterday, nor today, and won't tomorrow, I grabbed their snow suits and shoes and took them downstairs so they could go outside a little and run their cars up and down which they really enjoy doing right now. It was 4:30, and so the boys returned from physiotherapy, just as they were going outside. And so Randy and Sammy went outside as well, while I went back to work.

At 5:15 I went to the kitchen to start making their dinner. It was nice to do so in peace, without them standing next to me. Once I was done I went downstairs to tidy up the room with them. Sonja and Randy had already started. At first neither one of them wanted to help, then Tammy helped a little. Sonja showed me what crafts they had done today. They had cut out their hands that became the wings of a bird. Only Emmy completed it, as he was the one who had a lot of alone time with Sonja. Great job!

After everything was tidied up, we went upstairs. Tammy had walked up with me, while the boys were with Sonja. Emmy wanted Sammy to walk up the stairs and to hold his hand, and so Sonja had Sammy on the stairs, and Emmy immediately grabbed his hand, walking up with him. Tammy was watching from the top of the stairs, and then went back down to them to grab Emmy's hand. And so the three of them walked up the stairs holding hands with each other. Once they reached the top of the stairs, Tammy and Emmy hugged. Then Tammy included Sammy in the hug, and so all three hugged each either. It was the cutest thing!

We took their clothes off, and they sat down to eat at the table. Sonja said her good-byes. After they had eaten a little, they went into the bathtub, and I combined their food in a bowl to take to them. Sammy ate all his bread as well as theirs, but didn't finish his fruit. The other two ate a little more but not much. They were really busy playing, including playing dance class, and I was finally able to take a picture of Tammy teaching her ducky class.

I only realized how long they had played in the water after I had put them to bed. It was 7:20 before they were all in bed. Tammy lay down on my chest, and we talked. I sang to them, and after a while Tammy returned to her bed. At 7:50 I left them, but Tammy was not happy about that. I was making my food, but returned to her, and it only took a few minutes before she was asleep and I could walk away. I took my food downstairs to eat, then went back to work. Randy was also working again, continuing to make benches of different heights for Sammy to practice climbing on them, like he does in physiotherapy.

At 10 pm Emmy came to the top of the stairs crying, and I held him for a few minutes before putting him back to bed. I was able to walk away after a few more minutes and return to work.
