Day 941. Yesterday it was 2 am before I made it to bed. There was something going on with kids, but I don't remember as I was so very tired. When I woke up this morning, Tammy was sleeping in our bed, and Emmy came with his new Paw Patrol helmet on at 6:50. He didn't even crawl into bed with me! He was playing with his helmet and found out that there was a red light in the back that you could turn on and off. He was the only one up for a while, but then Sammy woke up, and finally Tammy as well. At 7:30 I got up to make breakfast.

We sat down at the table to eat, but right now neither Tammy nor Sammy are hardly eating anything. Then I cleaned them up and dressed them, and we went downstairs, where we read a Bible story. Then Emmy wanted to swing. Since Randy had still not come, I finally went upstairs anyway, and then he went downstairs.

I sat down at the computer to work, but I was very tired. At 9:45 I finally closed my eyes and slept until 11:15 . It might have been Tammy crying that woke me up. I went downstairs to comfort her and allowed them to watch Peppa Pig, which is what she wanted. She was rather cranky. Sammy was happily playing on the floor. Randy went upstairs to make omelets for the adults as there was only enough leftovers for the kids. I used the time to put away stuff from our trip last week and glue torn-out pages back into their books. Suddenly it was already just after noon, and so we went upstairs to eat.

As always they wanted to eat our bacon, and Randy had made plenty. Emmy ate all his chicken and rice and then quite a bit of my omelet. Tammy just wanted the bacon, and Sammy just wanted the omelet. Neither Tammy or Sammy ate hardly any of their chicken and rice. Tammy at one point pointed up and said there was an angel. Then she said that there was another one and another one.

Tammy wasn't gonna get any pudding since she had barely eaten anything, but I got a new one out they had never had (Obstgarten) to give to Emmy. Tammy was crying because she wasn't getting any; I told her she needed to eat some of her chicken first. Randy then said to let her have some anyway, and so all three together ate the whole big pudding and loved it. Then I cleaned them up and dressed them and put the boys to bed. Randy went downstairs with Tammy. It was already 1 pm, and it took the boys until 1:15 to fall asleep. Then Tammy came upstairs, and she fell asleep pretty quickly.

I finally went to work, with so much to do I didn't know where to start. At 2:30 Emmy woke up, and then Randy woke up Sammy to go to physiotherapy with him. Because of all the noise Tammy woke up as well, after only one hour of sleep. Randy left with Sammy, and the three of us went downstairs to play.

It was the second warm day and the right time to go outside again. I got pants and shoes for them, and Emmy finally got to use his helmet in action. They were eager to outside, and we took several vehicles with us. Then they started riding up and down the little hill, enjoying themselves greatly. Of course there were little falls here and there. Then Emmy shouted for help in pain, with his foot stuck. I ran to him and dropped my phone in the process, flat on its face. I freed Emmy's foot, and he was fine. Not so my phone. After the screen of my one-month-old phone broke, I had received my new phone yesterday and set it up. It was my first day using it today, and after less than 24 hours it was already broken as well. Unbelievable! I was pretty discouraged. Even a good case and screen protector had not protected it.

The kids continued riding their vehicles. One car and the motorbike are too small for them now, but they still want to use them. I encouraged Emmy to try out the bigger bike without paddles which is the perfect size for him now, and he finally did. Not only that, he did great and rode it for quite a while. It was the first time he rode it all by himself like that. Tammy also got on it at one point, but not for long before she abandoned it.

Somebody had somehow dug up some soil that ended up on the path, and that bothered them of course. Emmy got the broom out of the box and started sweeping, but he wasn't very successful, so I showed him how, and he's a quick learner. Then his sister joined him, and she finished the job after he had left.

Then they started getting the shopping carts, filling them, and taking them outside to push up and down the hill and around. They also took some other toys outside. Then Tammy asked me to get the bubbles, and I did. They wanted to blow them, which has been easier for Emmy for a while, but not for Tammy. She did a lot better today, and they were both having much fun doing it. Then Randy returned with Sammy around 4:30, and they came to us instead of going through the front door. Randy started taking toys back inside, while we continued with the bubbles, with me holding Sammy. Just before 5 pm Randy took my place, and I went to my computer to work the remaining 20 minutes before going to the kitchen to make dinner.

After they all came inside, Tammy came crying to the staircase. She's had a really cranky day! I went downstairs and let them watch Peppa Pig. I told her that when I'd come back to tidy up the room with them, I did not want to see any crying. That was my condition. She said yes. After their dinner was ready, I went downstairs at 5:45, stopped the video and put the "tidy up" song on. They were both upset, and Tammy started crying, and was crying hard. I encouraged them to tidy up. I asked Emmy if he was going to pay me again for tidying up for him. He said no and started tidying up. The girl, however, only cried and never lifted a finger, and so I opened her piggy bank and got a coin out, which made her cry even more. My reward for doing her job.

After we were done tidying up, we went upstairs to eat. Emmy kept reminding me that he was getting money for tidying up. Tammy was crying and wanted to sit on my lap instead of her chair, and I let her. She even wanted some soup then and ate some. She didn't eat anything else. Sammy wasn't very motivated either. Emmy went potty, and then they all went into the bathtub. Tammy has a rabbit that gives her comfort, and she always asks for it, when she's in distress, and sleeps with it. She was holding it, when she went into the bathtub, but I told her that he couldn't go into the water with her. Instead I put him on the shelf to look at the bathtub. She threw another fit and would not stop, screaming for her rabbit. Emmy was getting very concerned about her and started getting upset, and Sammy didn't like it either. Nothing I tried to calm her down worked. I finally started praying in unknown tongues out loud, and she immediately calmed down and put her head on my chest. I kept praying. Then I noticed Sammy's face changing, his lip curling, as if he was about to cry, and then he started crying. I stopped praying to comfort him, and then Tammy picked up her fit again. And so I started praying again, and again she calmed down and put her head on my chest. And again Sammy's face showed that he was about to start crying. I stopped praying, and everyone was fine. What an interesting experience.

Today their new electric toothbrushes had arrived - Paw Patrol for the boys, and Peppa Pig for Tammy. The speech therapist had suggested that it would be beneficial for Sammy. Tammy was first, but she didn't like it at all. Emmy was next, and he laughed and liked it. Then it was Sammy's turn. He didn't like it at first, but then he was okay with it. Then Tammy came out of the bathtub first because she was so tired and cranky. By 7:15 they were all in bed. I sat down by them, and Tammy wanted to lie on my chest for a while. Emmy was still saying that he wanted to go to the circus again. Then Tammy went to bed, and by 7:55 I was able to walk away because they were all asleep.

I hadn't eaten my beloved salad for a while, and tonight was the night. However, it takes me over an hour to make, and so it was 9:15 before I sat down to eat, and 9:45 before I was able to get back to work, so time was short, and it's gonna be another really late bedtime for me.
