Day 942. Last night I went to bed at 1:40 am. The girl joined us at one point in the night, and at 6 am Emmy came. That was a little early! He did not go back to sleep. After a while Sammy woke up, then Tammy. I was just so tired and wanted to stay in bed. But as time goes on the kids start asking for food and for me to get up, and they get more and more insistent until I finally move, whether I want to or not. Today I got up at 7:25.

I made breakfast, and we sat down to eat. Today it was Emmy who was cranky at first, but it subsided later and he ended up eating after all. Last night we had found two sets of Paw Patrol pj's for girls on our doorstep and Emmy wanted one. I told him it was for girls and that his was coming in a package soon, as I had ordered a shirt for him. That's when he started crying, as he wanted it right there and then.

Sammy once again would barely eat. Thankfully the girl ate more this morning. Then we cleaned them up and dressed them. Both Emmy and Tammy were wearing their Paw Patrol T-shirts. They also got to use the electric tooth brushes for the second time, and now they all like it.

It was high time to clean up under the dining room table, and Emmy was helping me. I had the hand-held vaccuum cleaner and Emmy the broom, then we switched. It's a lot more fun to clean with their help.

Then we went downstairs, where we read a Bible story together. Randy came before we were done, and so I went upstairs after the story. I turned on my computer to work, but soon got very tired. I still continued on, having too much to do. At 11 am I went downstairs to comfort Emmy, and was glad that he let me walk away without crying. I continued working until 11:30, then I went to the kitchen to cook. At 11:45 I went downstairs for something, and so they wanted to come upstairs, and I let them. They wanted to watch Peppa Pig. I told them no because they always cry when I turned it off. I finally said they could watch one episode (which is 5 minutes) but could not cry afterwards, and they agreed. I returned to cooking. When the episode was over, I turned it off. There were a few sounds, but no crying! I had not expected that!

The food was ready, and so we sat down to eat. I was glad to see that all three were eating well. Then they all had pudding. I cleaned them up, we dressed them, and the boys went to bed, while Randy went downstairs with Tammy. The boys were in bed by 12:40. I spent a few more minutes cleaning up before sitting down by them. Sammy was already asleep, Emmy was tossing and turning and fell asleep around 1 pm. Five minutes later Tammy was in bed, and contrary to what is usually the case she was asleep within minutes. And they slept unusually long.

By 1:45 I was so tired I could not continue working and lay down and closed my eyes. An hour later I woke up because Sammy was up and fussing. I heard Randy pick him up, but instead of going downstairs with him as usual he handed him to me for some reason. Randy sat down in the chair and started rocking Tammy. Sammy was having fun with me in bed for a few minutes, then I got up. I was still in the kitchen, wenn Tammy joined us. It was 3:05. I glanced over and saw Randy rocking Emmy now, who also got up minutes later.

It was another beatiful spring day, and I decided to open the balcony door and go outside. Tammy joined me, and Sammy fusssed, making it known that he wanted to come to. Then Emmy joined us as well. We spent a little time on the balcony, our first time this spring, jumping on the trampolin and looking at people walking by. Then I suggested we'd go back inside and downstairs. Emmy did not want to leave the balcony and was upset. I grabbed snacks for them, and we all went downstairs. Tammy and Emmy wanted to draw, so I gave them what they needed. Then I left them, as I really needed to get back to work. I had started a newsletter in the morning and needed to finish it. After I had finished the text, I decided it was time to go downstairs and continue working there.

Once I was downstairs it didn't take long until it became clear it was time to go outside. It was another beautiful spring day, and the kids wanted to ride their vehicles. Sammy was in his walker, with Randy trying to get him to walk. I put pants and shoes on them, and we went outside. Sammy went outside as well, where he had lots of room to walk. Randy told me he had great walking after I had left.

The kids were running up and down the hill and the path having fun. Tammy is impatiently waiting for her helmet to arrive tomorrow, but really I have to say she's been really patient. They love the now too-little car, and one of them is always riding it. I then got the bike without pedals out, and Emmy rode it for a while.

After a while the kids asked me to go get the bubbles, and I did. I blew them, Emmy blew them and Tammy blew them, and they just had the greatest time, chasing after the bubbles. Then Randy took over from me, and the fun continued. At 5:15 pm I left them to go make dinner.

They stayed outside for some more time, and I could hear them, when they came in. Emmy came to the staircase and wanted me to come down or for him to come up, but I said no. I finished getting their food ready and then went downstairs to tidy up with them. Emmy was cranky and did not want to; he wanted me to hold him. Tammy immediately went to work and really did great tonight. And so she got a big coin, while Emmy had to give me a coin from his piggy bank. He said that he'd tidy up tomorrow.

We went upstairs and sat down at the table to eat. They ate more than they have been at the table. I had made omelet, but Tammy was asking for soup, which they usually get. She didn't care for the omelet, neither did Sammy. Emmy liked it. Then they went into the bathtub, where they continued eating. I washed their hair with shampoo, which I don't do every day, and they hate it. I also brushed their teeth with the electric toothbrush. Tammy and Emmy now like it, but Sammy was scared at first, which surprised me. Then they all came out. By about 7:10 they were all in bed. I sat down by them, Tammy lay on my chest, and we talked a little. Emmy still wants to go see another circus that has the motorbike in it. I sang for them, and Tammy went back to bed after a while. Just before 8 pm I was able to walk away.

I made my dinner and went downstairs to eat. Then I went back to work. I really wanted to get the newsletter out but still had some work to do. At midnight, after Randy had already gone to bed, Emmy came to the top of the stairs. I took him back to bed, but he wanted me to stay. He agreed to go lie in my bed with Daddy until I come. I should be able to simpy move him to his bed, when I go to bed.
