Day 954. Last night I went to bed at 12:45 am. Not that much later Tammy joined us in bed. I held her for a few minutes, then we took her back to her bed. She came back later during the night to stay. Emmy came at 7 am and never went to sleep. Tammy was up as well pretty soon, and then they got up together. At 7:30 I got up and found that they had gotten a hold of a bag of stickers for Mali, and the stickers were everywhere on the floor. I got a box and asked them to put the stickers inside. It took some coaching, but they got them all in there.

We sat down to eat breakfast, then I cleaned them up and dressed them. They always want to wear the same clothes over and over again. Emmy wants his captain's body, and Tammy loves cats. At 9 am the Mobile support lady was coming, and Emmy kept saying her name, and I kept telling him she'd be here any minute.

We went downstairs, opened the blinds, I took my vitamins, we tidied up a bit, I went upstairs, and then the doorbell rang and she was here. The kids were excited, and she went downstairs to play with them. I started tidying up upstairs, then I sat down to do office work.

At 10:30 the Mobile Support lady left and just before 11 am the doorbell rang and Sonja arrived. It was so great to see her! It's been about a month since she was last with us at lunch time. The kids were so excited to see her. Randy was walking with Sammy, but a few minutes later he was done and came upstairs. We finally got to measure the windows in the kids' room so we can buy curtains that completely darken the room and make it easier for them to sleep.

Just before noon I went to the kitchen to warm up leftovers for us to eat. A few minutes later they all came upstairs, and we sat down at the table to eat. At first none of them ate much. I was able to encourage Emmy to eat more to get dessert, and Sammy eats a little more, when he gets his special drink. Tammy didn't eat much and didn't get dessert. We cleaned them up and dressed them, and by 12:45 the boys were in bed. Ten minutes later the doorbell rang; it was the cleaning lady. The boys were all excited. I was able to calm down Emmy, but not Sammy. He stayed all excited. I got Emmy to lie down and go to sleep by saying he would not get the package that was coming for him today. By 1:10 he fell asleep, while Sammy was still trying to crawl out of bed. He usually falls asleep once I walk away, but today he kept fussing. I had to come back a few times; it took until nearly 1:30 before he fell asleep. Then Tammy came upstairs to go to bed. She was a lot more quiet (tired) than usual and fell asleep faster, after I had come over a few times and then stayed a few minutes. Then I returned to work.

At 2:10 Emmy walked into the room, just after I had laid down to close my eyes for a bit. He just wanted to go downstairs to Sonja, where Randy took him. Then I fell asleep. A few minutes later Randy walked in and woke me up, then I fell back asleep. Around 2:30 Randy got Sammy and took him downstairs. Just before 3 pm I got up to continue working. The cleaning lady asked me a question and that woke Tammy up at 3 pm. She also went downstairs, together with their snacks, while I went to work. I was looking forward to being able to work thanks to Sonja being here.

While working I realized that we had not taken our weekly PCR tests today, and Randy needs it tomorrow to take Sammy to physiotherapy. So I called Randy upstairs, he did it and then left right away to drop it off. However, it's unlikely we'll get the results in time for the appointment tomorrow.

At 5:15 pm the cleaning lady was done and left, and I started making their dinner. Since everything had been tidied up today, there was no need for a tidy-up time with the kids. The highly anticipated Amazon packages arrived, and I decided to take them downstairs for them to open them. One contained a new toy cellphone, as I was partially responsible for their old one breaking. The other one was a memory game. They each ripped open a package and got the content out. Sammy wanted to be a part real bad, and he was right there with us. Emmy's eyes lit up, when he saw the Peppa Pig cellphone. We unpacked it and turned it on. Tammy wanted to look at it as well, but he wouldn't let her at first. I had to take it and give it to her. When it was time to go upstairs and leave it, she didn't want to and I had to take it away and put it out of reach. She did her best to try to climb up the shelf to get to it (picture).

Tammy was the one who opened up the Memory game. We got the cards out, and I picked three pairs to show her how to play Memory. She did pretty well. Then I played it with Emmy, who also did pretty well. Sammy wanted to play too, and he played with Sonja. Then it was really time to go upstairs, as it was after 6 pm. Once upstairs, Randy returned, just in time. We undressed the kids, and they sat down at the table to eat, while Sonja said her good-byes. Tammy was still pretty cranky, like she had been downstairs, and stayed that way the rest of the day. They all ate some, and then continued eating in the bathtub, where they were also having fun, getting the whole bathroom wet. We got them out one after another and ready for bed. By 7:15 pm they were all in bed, and I sat down by them. Tammy was on my chest, Emmy was holding my hand, and we talked. After a while Tammy returned to bed. It took until 8 pm before they were finally asleep and I could walk away and get something to eat. I ate, and then went back to work. Hopefully bedtime will be earlier tonight.
