Day 994. Last night I went to bed just after 1 am. Emmy came after a while, I held him a few minutes, and then he walked back to his bed. Surprisingly Tammy did not join us in bed tonight. And Emmy came pretty late this morning, at 8 am instead of 7 am. And it was Sammy who was awake first and already in bed with us, when Emmy came. I held him a few minutes, then Tammy came running and joined us. It wasn't long before they were all up, and at 8:20 we got up as well.

I made breakfast, and we sat down to eat. After breakfast we cleaned them up and dressed them and left as soon as we were ready, which was at 9:25. It was a hot day. We walked to the bus stop, had to wait a while, then got on the bus. We hadn't taken a bus in a while. Tammy and Emmy sat down on seats, and I sat down by them. It wasn't a long ride. We got off and crossed the street to go to the pharmacy, where I had registered Randy and the kids for a Covid test. Me being positive, I would think they all are as well, as they all have symptoms.

There was no line. As soon as the pharmacist turned to us, he asked if we were the Wilsons. He said that they don't get triplets very often. He asked us inside instead of doing it outside and sat down. That way the kids didn't even have to leave the stroller. Emmy was so cute, when he opened his mouth as wide as he could. Tammy opened her mouth normally, and Sammy was scared and crying. He gave them each candy and a little booklet for kids. Then we left. We crossed the street and walked to the bus stop and didn't have to wait long. Tammy and Emmy sat on seats with me again. We got off at the end and walked all the way back home.

At 10:20 we walked through our apartment doors. I had them compete who'd get their shoes off faster again, and this time Tammy won, much to her delight. Then I took them downstairs, where I opened the blinds. Emmy was drumming, and Sammy also played with his favorite drum set. Tammy wanted to draw and so I gave her paper and crayons. I took my vitamins and went upstairs. A few minutes later Randy went downstairs. It was already late to get working, but at least I just had to warm up the soup I had made yesterday. At noon they came upstairs to eat. Tammy ate her whole bowl of soup, while Emmy ate very little. He ate a little more so he would also get icecream. They all had pudding as well, then Tammy and Emmy both went potty successfully. Then they went into the bathtub to be rinsed off, but they were having great fun as well. We got them out and dressed them. And then we decided to try something. Randy went downstairs with Sammy, then I went downstairs with the other two once they were ready. Sammy was sitting on a box by the couch playing with their laptop, and it was just the cutest picture of "Sammy at work". I left them there and went upstairs. It was 12:55.

Not sitting down by their beds right away gave me the time needed to clean everything up, which was very appreciated. If I don't do it right away, it's much harder to get up to do it. Then I sat down at the computer.

Randy and the kids came upstairs at 1:20, and the children all went to bed. Tammy and Sammy fell asleep rather quickly, but not Emmy. He kept tossing and turning and messing around and testing how far he can go with provoking me. At 1:55 he told me to leave. Five minutes later he called me to come back and asked for milk for the fifth time. I'd really had enough. I sat by him, and just before 2:10 he was FINALLY asleep. I was able to return to my computer to work.

Randy returned from the grocery store before anyone was up. In fact, they were all sleeping so long that I had to make a move to wake them up at 3:30. I called to Randy, which was enough to wake them all up. A few seconds later Tammy and Emmy stood right next to me. And so we all went downstairs, together with their snacks. I then left them there and went upstairs to work.

It wasn't long before Emmy shouted up the stairs that he wanted to go to dance class. I explained to him again that we were sick and therefore had to stay home and couldn't go there. He said, "okay". Later there were some tears, and at 4 pm I let them watch Peppa Pig to soothe them. I made them promise me there were not gonna cry, when we turned it off. Half an hour later Randy turned it off, and they cried. But not for long. Soon they were happily playing again. One time I went downstairs because Sammy cried so hard, and he cried again, when I left. At 5:30 I went to the kitchen to make their dinner.

I was not feeling very well. We're all coughing, I and the children, but I'm the one feeling the worst, it seems. I powered on anyway, and at 6 pm they came upstairs to eat. It was the second time that they were NOT gonna get to eat in the bathtub, and I kept reminding them, but they still did not eat much at all. Tammy was the first one up to go potty, then Emmy left, while I continued feeding Sammy. Then he joined the others in the bathtub. They played and role-played, and after a while we started getting them out one after another. By 7:05 pm they were in bed.

I sat down by them, rocked Tammy, then Emmy, then Sammy, then Emmy again, and said no to Tammy rocking again. Tammy was the first one asleep, while the boys were still up. I was aware that they would have a hard time falling asleep having slept so long in the afternoon. After over an hour, by 8:10 pm, Emmy finally told me I could leave, as I had unsuccessfully tried to have Randy take my place before. I happily went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. It wasn't long before Emmy started calling for me to come back. I continued eating, and in the end he fell asleep without me having come back. Thank God! Once I was done eating, I went back to work.

And then I got the Covid test results for the boys who are both negative; that's surprising as they're also coughing. I'm going to bed without having received Randy's or Tammy's results which probably means they're positive. I'll find out in the morning.
