Day 1025. We got up at a normal time today, after Emmy woke me up. It was about 8 am. It was a holiday today, and we stayed home, with no one visiting us. It was nice having a day with nowhere to go. Randy, however, was the one watching them most of the day, so it kept him busy. Especially as they did not sleep very long at nap time. In the afternoon they went outside for a while to ride their vehicles. I went downstairs once they were back inside and gave them a photobook to look at. They wanted to look at the Easter pictures. Then it was already time to make their dinner, so Randy took my place again.

I made eggs for dinner, and they ate them all tonight, and ate quite a bit of fruit while in the bathtub. They used to roleplay a lot in the bathtub, but tonight Emmy and Tammy were just wild, wrestling most of the time, and splashing water all over the bathroom.

They were in bed by 7 pm, and the boys fell asleep first, but Tammy needed a long time, and I had to come back after having eaten, to hold her hand, and minutes later she was asleep. I then continued working, while Randy continued researching the Botox injections they want to give Sammy to reduce spasticity in his muscles. I've had a rather blah day, with so much work to do and discouragements in several areas. After our week in Mexico, where we had two days to ourselves, I long even more to go to the ocean for a real vacation, and pray we can do so later in the summer. A week in Greece or Turkey right by the ocean is what I'm dreaming of.... it's just a 2-hour flight away, but it does take money to do.
