Day 1049. Emmy was up before 7 again, and we got up before it was 8 am. After breakfast we went downstairs and opened a new Bible to start with the creation story. It has a lot of text and not as many pictures, so we'll see whether they're old enough for that.

Back upstairs I was getting ready for my student at 10 am. On Friday I was scheduled to have my first lesson, and it was canceled 10 minutes before. Today's student never showed up (online). My next students are scheduled for Tuesday. I hope it'll work out soon.

I was extremely tired and started doing other work, but having a hard time because of it. At 11:15 I went to the kitchen to cook, and at noon they came upstairs to eat. Tammy had seconds twice, and Emmy wanted another sunny-side up again, and Tammy also asked for another one, and so I made a second one for them to add to their cremed spinach and potatoes. Then they all had icecream - on a stick. After having eaten, I put them all into the bathtub to get all the green off of them. After having dressed them, I went downstairs with them to have fun until 1:30 pm.

Sammy wanted the piano, while the other two wanted to do the Peppa Pig sticker book. Then Tammy was the first one to want to be in the swing, and of course she wanted to look at photo books again. Time went by fast, and then the alarm went off for us to go upstairs. As always, Tammy threw a fit and did not want to go upstairs.

They usually fall asleep pretty fast, and by 1:40 I can walk away. I was very tired myself and by 2 pm decided to close my eyes. I woke up, when Emmy walked into the room less than an hour later. I was still very tired and stayed very tired the rest of the day. But I knew I had to get a move on so we could leave the house at 4 pm. And so I forced myself to get up and start making their dinner-to-go boxes. The other two were soon up again. We got them and everything ready, and left the house on time.

Emmy wanted to walk, and so Tammy did too. We took the train, then the tram. Like last week it was an unusually long wait time for the tram, and so we got to church after the service had started.

We went to the front, where they picked up streamers to dance. Sammy needed a diaper, and so I went to the bathroom with him. Once back, I enjoyed watching Emmy  and Tammy dance. It wasn't long until they started asking me to go upstairs. It was 3:30 pm, and so off we went. We were the first ones in the room. I took their shoes off and was about to leave, when Emmy held on to me and started crying. He didn't want me to leave. I took him to Randy and left. I enjoyed the rest of worship and then heard much of the sermon before I left to go back upstairs. Both Emmy and Tammy ran to me, when I got there. Emmy got the drawings he had made to show them to me, and Tammy grabbed a book she wanted me to read with her. Randy was in the play kitchen with Sammy. It wasn't long until the final song started. We cleaned up a little, and then I put their shoes back on and we left.

The service was already over, when we got to the sanctuary. The kids were shouting Anna's name and then ran to her, when they had spotted her. Sammy was also very excited to see her. Emmy then walked to the other side of the sanctuary, where we ran into Franziska. They were having fun on the ramp, then we said our good-byes and left. We walked to the tram stop, where they started watching Peppa Pig while eating their food, then they continued on the tram, and on the platform while waiting for the train. Not long after 8 pm we were back home.

We started undressing them for bed, but they still wanted to eat some icecream, and so I put them into the bathtub and gave them icecream sticks. Then we go them ready for bed, put them to bed, and I sat down by them. It was about 9:15 before I was able to walk away, and Tammy was still murmuring, when I did. I made myself something to eat, ate, and then went back to work. Now it's after midnight and time for bed.
