Day 1056. It was a typical morning with the kids up early and bringing me squeezies to open them for them to drink, but I would not open the third squeezies they brought me. I finally crawled out of bed to make breakfast, and we went downstairs after. We read a Bible story together, I gave them paper and crayons to draw, and went upstairs to work.

At 11:15 I went to the kitchen to make lunch, and at noon we sat down to eat. They needed some encouragement to eat again and then had icecream. We cleaned them up and dressed them, and I took them downstairs for about 45 minutes until 1:30 pm. We put together the Happy Meal stuff they had received, and they all got to go in the swing. At 1:30 we went upstairs, and they lay down for their nap. After a few minutes I left them, very determined to lie down and take a nap.

However, I did not, but ended up working instead. At 3 pm I turned the ocean waves off and started making their dinner-to-go boxes, while they woke up and got up. We got them and everything ready to leave for church and left the house at 4 pm.

We did not take the double-stroller today, but instead we had one tricycle that Emmy sat on at first, while Tammy was walking, and Sammy was in the single stroller. It worked pretty well. After the train, we took a tram, and we switched things up, as Sammy was not happy and wanted to ride the tricycle.

We got to church before the service started and went to our regular area, where the fabric and streamers were already laid out. The kids went straight for them. Emmy has gotten pretty good at using them and used them the most, though Tammy did too. Sammy was more interested in the trashcans with the swing openings, as usual. He was still pretty cranky too, and so I ended up swinging him around and making him laugh. After only twenty minutes the kids already asked about going upstairs, and I told them that it was not time yet. At 5:30 we went took their food and went upstairs to the toddler room.

We were the first ones in the room. The kids were excited and ran off, and Sammy crawled straight to the kitchen again. And so I got myself a chair to sit down by him and hold him up so he could play. He was enjoying it so very much! He fell once, and I caught him, but then he fell, and I didn't. I picked him up and comforted him and sat down in the teaching area with him, as the teaching was about to start.

We did the starting song, but they weren't participating much. Then they each got a mirror, and the teacher did the greeting song, always for two kids at the time. And the sheep gave each kid a kiss. Then she handed out the Bibles, and we did the Bible song, and even Sammy was holding the Bible up high for the song. Then it was teaching time. She recreated Elijah being fed by ravens, put fabric on the floor to make a river, and handed out black socks for their hands to make ravens, and then they picked up bread and took it to the bowl by Elijah. The kids had fun doing it. Even Sammy was saying "kra-kra" - the sound ravens make. Then she handed out instruments so we could do a song. Emmy was very disappointed, when he did not get the only drum, but suddenly it was available again, and he was very happy. He made the loudest noise of all. After the song, she had papers to color, and Tammy jumped up to take one and go draw. Emmy preferred keeping the drum and continuing to play it. I took Sammy and sat down by the table with him so he could get some food, and he helped himself to it. But it wasn't long before he pointed at the boxes in the shelf, wanting to go there, and so I put him by the box in a kneeling position, while he was asking for the horse. I found it and gave it to him.

Randy returned, and Sammy immediately wanted Daddy. Tammy and Emmy were having fun with some adults and children, and then Tammy ended up reading a book by herself, while Emmy was playing cars with another boy. I sat down by Tammy and read some books to her. Then the song indicating it was time to tidy up and leave started, and so I put all the books away. We put their shoes back on and left to go back downstairs to the sanctuary.

On the way down they were all shouting "Anna" pretty loudly, but she had hidden today. Sammy was the first one to see her and was really happy, when she took him. We talked to a few more people and then left to go home.

Sammy was in the tricycle again, as we walked to the tram station, while Tammy was in the stroller. They wanted to watch Paw Patrol, and so they did while waiting for the tram. We got on, and they continued watching while eating their food. Sammy was so cranky, Randy put him back into the stroller. We got off and went to the train platform, where they continued. Then we got on the train, where they also continued watching. When I turned it off, as we had to get off the train, I was shocked, when they didn't cry as usual. We walked home, where we arrived around 8:15.

They still wanted to eat, and so they had some pudding at the table, before we started getting them ready for bed. I was pretty tired, but sat by them, hoping they'd fall asleep fast. It was Tammy who fell asleep last, and she was still not all the way asleep, when I finally walked away at 9:30 pm, so really late. I got myself something to eat, ate, and then started working on today's pictures and this blog. As it was later than usual, I'm also going to bed later than usual, as it's already 1 am, and I still have to clean up the kitchen.
