Day 1060. Today I had to set my alarm for 7:45, as my most faithful student could only do 9 am. Of course Tammy and Emmy were already up and had had two squeezies each. After breakfast they went downstairs with Randy, as I had to get ready for my class. Even though I was pretty tired, it went well. They offered a webinar right after, at 10 am, and I participated in it, as I'm having so much fun teaching with them. It was over at 11. I started getting ready for my next student, but a few minutes later it was already time to make lunch.

At noon they all came upstairs to eat, and Emmy ate everything on his plate today, while Tammy needed some encouragement to eat more. Sammy didn't eat that much either. They all had icecream, then I cleaned them up and dressed them. We had to leave the house early, but I still went downstairs with them, as they enjoy that time with me so much. We did cut it short, though. They all got to swing, and Tammy and Emmy put Peppa Pig stickers into a book. As always, Tammy started crying, when I said that it was time to go upstairs. She still wanted to look at photobooks. It was only 1 pm, but they needed to go to bed.

Tammy and Sammy were asleep fast, but for some reason it took Emmy a while today. And so he didn't quite get a whole hour of sleep. I didn't sleep either, but was still getting ready for classes. I did get very tired and wanted to close my eyes, but there was no time. At 2 pm I stopped the ocean waves and opened the curtains, which was enough for them to wake up. We got them and everything ready and left the house at 2:15 pm.

Sammy was in the stroller, Emmy on the tricycle and Tammy walking as we made our way to the train station. We got on a regular train with steps and got off a few minutes later. The whole time they were saying that they were not gonna cry (like last time), when we get off, but they did. We then took a bus for a few stops, and then walked the rest of the way to the school, where we arrived early.

After taking their shoes off, they went inside where the course was already set up. I put Sammy on the ground, and a little boy came to him and put a cone on his head, which was funny.  Tammy and Emmy were also playing with the cones at first, then discovered the hoops that they like so much. And both of them were doing somersaults again. Especially Emmy took it very seriously and did some very nice ones.

Sammy likes the trampolin best and couldn't wait to get there. I had to spend quite a lot of time making him jump on there, mostly with him lying on the back. I had to get him off a few times so other kids could jump too. This was only Sammy's second time with this teacher, as he usually has physiotherapy on Thursdays, but this week he'd had it on Monday.

After some time of them playing freely with what was set up, she put everything away and had everyone sit down on the mats to do a few action songs. Today Emmy participated well, but Tammy not so much. You see her frown in the selfie I took, where I copy her frown.

The kids wanted to do "baby shark", which we did, and then the parents pulled their kids who were sitting or lying on the mats. The teacher pulled Emmy, and I think it's the cutest picture. We did the caroussel song, which they enjoy, and the goodbye song, and class was over.

We went outside and put their shoes on, and I asked them who was gonna ride the tricycle. They were fighting, and then they suddenly both sat on it, which was a first. But it didn't work very well, so Tammy ended up walking again. We walked to the bus stop and had to wait quite a while. Because a scheduled bus hadn't come, the one we got on was very full. Somebody gave up their seat so we could have a double-seat, where I sat down with Tammy and Emmy. More people got on at the next stop, and Tammy was shouting "too many people". Neither one of them liked the bus being so full. Poor Sammy was sitting on the tricycle in a corner, surrounded by people, the whole ride long. We finally reached the final stop, got off and went straight to the subay. We only had 3 stops to get home. We're sure looking foward to the subway going all the way to the end again (in September).

At 4:45 pm we were back home, which was earlier than ever, as we had made no stops at the playground (though they had asked - too hot) or at the grocery store (too hot, too much hassle, no bag). The kids had not watched Peppa Pig on the way home as usual, and so they were allowed to watch once we got home. I walked downstairs with them and set it up, then went back upstairs. Sammy was asking for the piano, of course, which Randy set up once he went downstairs.

Being home so early gave me extra time to prepare the lessonsI had coming up. Time goes by way too fast all the time anyway. The kids hadn't eaten much in the afternoon, and as I had a 8 pm class, we decided to have dinner at 6:15 already, and so I went to the kitchen at 5:45 to make their dinner.

They came upstairs a little early, and so the kids kept coming to me for bread or fruit. Then we finally sat down at the table to eat. They were enjoying the corn on the cob, as usual, then went into the bathtub. They ate some more there. Sammy usually beats them, but tonight he didn't eat much in the water. Emmy left the water early to go potty, and then Tammy did too. We got them ready for bed, and they were in bed earlier than they have been, at about 7:10. I told them I had a student tonight, but as they had asked me to still sit with them and it was still early, I sat down. Emmy was the first one asleep tonight, while the other two seemed pretty awake. When I finally did leave at 7:40 and Randy took my place, Tammy was upset about me leaving and fussed for quite some time. I took my computer downstairs for the lesson, and by the time it started Tammy had fallen asleep. Randy said that I was pretty loud, but there's nothing that I can do about it as we live in an apartment with no (hardly any) doors. He also said he could tell how much I enjoy teaching, even though he did not understand a word I was saying (I was teaching French in German.).

After my lesson I spent some more time getting ready for my lesson tomorrow morning, then went upstairs to get something to eat. It was 10 pm before I got to eat dinner, and therefore also later before I got started working on pictures and writing today's blog. Now it's nearly 1 am and high time to hit the hay.
