Day 1061. We had an at-home day today, and there might be more of those coming with me teaching online now. As the number of my regular students increases, the number of hours I teach increase, and next week I already teach every day. It's up to me how many students I accept, and I need to make sure I don't take on too many, especially as it's in my nature to give my all and prepare as well as possible. Today I tought at 10 am - a new student - and at 3 pm, and I was pretty beat after the second lesson. I had not taken a nap, when the kids did. And I had to call the parent of another new student, which took some time and energy. I was glad that a possible 8 pm lesson wasn't happening.

When we visited my friend the other day, I found out about a toy her kid loves, and our kids enjoyed it too, and so I got it for them. When we went downstairs after lunch, I got it out, together with two games. You hold a stick to different parts of a book or game or cards, and the stick tells you about what you hold it to. Tammy and Emmy kept alternating, while Sammy got more and more frustrated because he wanted to have it too. He finally started crying, and only then did I hand it to him. He immediately lit up and enjoyed using it. I can tell that we're gonna need three sticks. In the afternoon, when Randy was with them, they also played with it, and Sammy really enjoyed it. Maybe it will replace his obsession with the piano.

By 7:50 pm they were in bed tonight, and I sat down by them. They were unusually quiet, but still did not fall asleep right away. Tammy was the last one to sleep, after having asked for the milk bottle about 5 times. I finally walked away and cut up my salad that I'd eat a lot more often if it wasn't so much work. After eating, I went back to work, and time just flew by. No teaching until Monday, thank God!
