Day 1038. We got up around 8 am this morning. After breakfast and once they were ready to go downstairs, it was nearly 9 am already, and so they stayed upstairs to welcome the Mobile Support lady who hadn't been with us in over a month. Sammy was right by the door, trying to open it, while I kept telling him that she hadn't rung the doorbell yet. She came a few minutes after 9 am and was welcomed by Sammy first. The kids went downstairs with Randy, while I talked with her for a few minutes. It was nice to find out that we don't have to wear masks in our own home any more, while she still has to wear it.

After she had gone downstairs, I went to work on the computer and worked until 11:30. Then I went to the kitchen to cook, and at noon Randy and the kids came upstairs to eat. They ate pretty well and had icecream. After cleaning them up and dressing them, I went downstairs with them, while Randy did a quick run to the grocery store.

As always I got the piano out for Sammy who can't get enough of it. Tammy and Emmy wanted to swing and both got to do so, and Tammy also wanted to look at photobooks. And today I got the Peppa Pig sticker book out for them to do. And then it was already nearly 1:30 and time to go upstairs to go to bed.

By 1:45 they were all asleep, with Emmy having been the last one to sleep. I returned to the computer to work, but soon decided I needed a nap as well. I was woken up, when Emmy came into the room around 3:45 pm. I couldn't believe it was already this late! All three had slept this late. They stayed upstairs for a little bit, had some snacks, but they wanted to go outside. I opened the balcony door so they could see what a hot day it was, but that didn't work. They wanted to go outside. And so I gave them pants and shoes, and they all went downstairs.

Randy was a little overwhelmed and so I went downstairs after Emmy had told me Daddy was not taking them outside.  I got them ready and opened the door for them and gave them the vehicles. They also asked for the bubbles.

Sammy had been on the piano, and when Randy took it away from him, Sammy started crying really hard. I picked him up and calmed him down. Then Randy put the harness for the new walker he's trying out on him, and we went outside. I was able to cheer him up and get him to stop crying. And then I got to see him in action in the new walker for the first time. He did a great job, even though his feet were crossing in this walker. I made a video that turned out really well. He was motivated to walk to get the balloon or to walk to me. In the meantime Tamm and Emmy were making giant bubbles and loving it. Then I left them there to use the little time left to do some more work.

I've now applied for an online tutoring platform to make some extra money. I still had to take tests in the subjects I wanted to tutor, and that's what I did with the rest of my time. I qualified for 5 subjects. Now I have an online interview, and in a few days I could start tutoring. Please pray for me in this new endeavor, for God's will to be done. I need to make sure I find the right amount of hours per week to do this, fitting it into my busy schedule.

At 6 pm I went to the kitchen to make dinner, and at 6:30 they came upstairs to eat. They did pretty well eating, finishing most of the food in the bathtub, and by 7:30 they were in bed. I sat down by them, but it's still not late enough, especially having slept so long at nap time today. After about an hour I left and let Randy take my place. All three were still awake. Of course they protested me leaving, as Emmy and Tammy want me to hold their hands to fall asleep, which I often do. Instead I went to the kitchen to make my food, and as they continued crying for me, I started singing the songs I usually do, when I sit by their beds. It seemed to work. They quieted down and after a while I could stop singing. I ate my food and then went back to work, working until about midnight. And Emmy has been sleeping all evening, thank God.
