Day 2132. As expected, the kids were up early because of jetlag, but they had slept all night which was great. The cat came into the room, when we opened the door, much to the kids' delight. Sammy was still a little wary of the cat.

We all got up and got ready for the day and drove to Randy's mother's house where we had breakfast. Then I sat down in the other room and got my computer out to get ready to teach at 9 am which is 4 pm in Austria. I taught for one hour then I continued on the computer, doing office work.

We then had lunch pretty early, sandwiches that everyone enjoyed. Then the kids continued playing, while I went back to work. At some point in the afternoon we returned to the house, where we stayed for the rest of the day. Randy's youngest adult daughter made spaghetti for everyone to eat, then the kids were eager to go outside and play in the water, given how hot it was. I helped them put their bathing suits on, then they went outside. I stayed inside and was watching them from there.

The boys have been scared of the dogs at both houses. Tammy was at first as well but not for long. Sammy was terrified when the dog also wanted to have some water fun. Whenever he'd come near, he'd scream for Mommy or Daddy. He was not having fun. After watching for a few minutes and feeling bad for Sammy because Daddy was distracted and not noticing, I went outside to rescue Sammy. He was extremely thankful. I carried him upstairs to our room and gave him a new diaper. He then got his headset out to listen to music. The cat came by as she likes the room we're in, and Sammy had a good time with her. He was a little fearful at first but has pretty much lost that already as it's a very loving cat.

After a while the other kids came in too. They showered, put their pj's on, and we sat down on their bed for a story. Then I prayed for them, and they went to bed. It was about 7 pm, and they were all asleep quickly. I turned my computer on to work and was also battling jetlag and exhaustion and having a hard time keeping my eyes open. Randy was soon asleep, but I pushed on for a while until giving up at about 10 pm.

This morning Sammy was up first at about 5:30 am and soon the others were up as well. We then all got up and drove to Randy's mother's house where we had breakfast. Then I sat down at the table in the other room to work. I taught from 9 to 11 am. I was pretty tired.

With noon approaching, we all made some sandwiches to eat for lunch. After lunch, we soon left to drive to Walmart. It was a 45-minute drive. The kids were having fun with each other in the car (no tablets) while I really just wanted to sleep which was not possible. We then walked through Walmart trying to get everything we needed. Sammy got some Mickey socks and Tammy earrings, so Emmy wanted something as well. We then found a little ball he liked.

After we had everything and more, we checked out and paid and loaded the car up, then drove back to Randy's mother's house. I found out that I could connect my phone to the car so the kids were listening to music/a story from my phone. That way we were back in no time at all.

Someone turned the TV on for the kids, while I sat on the chair I always sit on. Randy had also bought balloons for Sammy and started blowing them up and letting them fly. Sammy was having so much fun. I then got involved in the game, making Sammy laugh even more. We had so much fun together.

Then it was dinner time. We had some corn, fried chicken and potato casserole. Tammy ate everything on her plate, while Emmy hardly ate anything. Sammy was very hungry too and ate a lot. Then he was ready to continue playing with me which we did, while the other kids were watching TV. In the end he stood up with the help of the table and showed that he could stand without holding on with his hands.

At 7 pm we decided it was time to go to the house. We said our good-byes and drove up the hill. The kids went straight into the bathtub, then put their pj's on and brushed their teeth. Then we sat down for a story. The cat had joined us and was distracting them somewhat. After the story, I prayed for them and they went to sleep. It was nearly 8 pm. I turned my computer on and started working. Randy went to bed really early again. Now it's 11 pm, and I'll be going to bed as well.
