HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2179. Last night I fell asleep at 10 pm as I was so tired I was nauseous. Tammy and Emmy joined us in bed, and Randy then moved to the bed with Sammy so we'd all have enough room. Even with the two kids, I slept pretty well. Emmy was up first and early, and then Sammy was up right away as well. Tammy was up next, and then we all got up, got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.
They had a good selection of foods, and we all ate more or less food. Back in the room, I packed all the suitcases, and Randy took everything to the car. Once he was done, we all left the room, checked out, and got into the car. Just after 11 am we drove off.
It was 5.5 hours driving time to Randy's village in Mississippi. And we drove three hours without stopping, all the way to west side of Birmingham where there was a Chick-Fil-A. The clocks were turned back an hour when we crossed into Alabama, so it was only 1 pm when we arrived. There was a picture of a playground on Google Maps and, thank God, there was actually a playground there, not like the last two times. The kids started playing right away while I stayed at the table to wait for the food. It was our last time at a restaurant which is why we had picked this one, and we also cashed in all the points we had gathered this summer which gave us a few free items. However, the kids ate little and quickly went back to the playground. They then ate most of their food in the car later.
After 80 minutes we left, got back into the car and continued on our journey. We had 2.5 hours left to drive. We made a quick stop at Target first, then we got on the interstate going west. Randy made one more stop for gas and restrooms, and at 5:45 pm we drove up to the house he built and where his daughter now lives.
They were not at home so we were on our own. I made our beds while Randy unloaded the car. Then we warmed up last night's leftovers and had them for dinner. The kids continued playing for a while after eating, while I went upstairs and turned my computer on. Suddenly Emmy came to me crying. He had played soccer and ripped the top of his nail open on his big toe. It was bleeding, and he was hurting. I put a bandaid on, then the other kids came up as well. It was bedtime. They put their pj's on, I read them a story, prayed for them, then they went to bed. But first they had a video call with Sammy's friend in California for a few minutes. Sammy was very happy about that. After that, it was really bed time. It was actually way past their bedtime, and so Tammy started crying over nothing. I then lay down next to her, and she fell asleep right away.
It was time for me to get back to my computer and catch up on two days as I had not done anything last night. Now it's 12:45 am, and I'm the last one up.
