HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2168. I had set my alarm for 8 am, but the boys were up way before that. I finally got up and warmed up some frozen breakfast egg dish we had bought in the supermarket; Emmy enjoyed it. Randy ran to the car to bring up some water bottles and picked up paper bags with our breakfast from the reception desk. They contained an apple, a bar and water each. That's all the breakfast they offered. I just ate some of the egg dish while preparing for my 9 am student. At 8:45 am I left them in the room to eat and went downstairs to the business center to teach there, hoping the internet would be better, plus it would be more quiet. What I was unaware of was that I still had my hotspot on so that I did my whole lesson using my hotspot instead of the terrible internet the hotel was offering. That's why it worked so well.
During my 75 minute lesson, Randy and the kids came downstairs one time. Immediately it was loud and they were disturbing my lesson. They then headed to the fitness room and then back to our room. After I was done teaching, I also headed up to our room.
It was time to pack which I did then Randy took everything to the car. While we were waiting, Emmy was practicing his headstand and handstand, as usual, and he's now able to do both against a wall - no problem at all. We then finally all went downstairs and to the car. It was exactly 11 am which was check-out time. We got into the car and drove off, continuing our journey to Florida.
While we had driven 4 hours yesterday, we had 3 hours ahead of us today. I looked up Chick-Fil-A and saw on the pictures that they had a playground so we made it our lunch stop. When we were approaching, I placed the order on my phone so that I only had to put in the table number once arriving there. When we got to it in Dothan and walked in, I noticed right away that there was no playground. Like the other one we had gone to, they had done away with it when they renovated. Once again I was pretty upset as were the kids, and I asked them again to have the picture removed from Google Maps.
It was nearly 1 pm, and the kids were hungry. We had a good time eating, then we continued our trip after over an hour there. We had gone half way and had another 90 minutes left to drive. With the bathroom stops, we arrived just before 4 pm.
It was great to see hour friends again who we had also visited two years ago. We went inside and sat down with them while Randy unloaded the car. The kids were intrigued by the dogs especially the new, big dog, and had fun petting them. After Randy was done, we went into the trailer that is going to be our home these next few days to put our swimsuits on. It was finally time to go swimming - much to the kids' delight. We got changed and went straight into the pool where we had lots of fun. At one point I got out and sat down on a chair as I was very tired. I took some pictures while there while I was watching them.
Then we returned to the trailer even though the boys were very unhappy about it. After they had dressed, they started collecting shells, then we went over to the neighbors' house for dinner. We had a good time eating and talking. In the end, we all prayed for the two ladies who had broken their backs. Then we said our good-byes and returned to our trailer.
It was time to get them ready for bed which we did. It was very hot in the trailer so our friends returned to try to make it better. I read the kids a story, prayed for them them, and then it was bedtime. It was just after 8 pm so perfect timing. They were all sharing a big bed with each other. After they were in bed, I turned on my computer. Now it's after 12:30 am and time to go to bed.
