Day 1951. Yesterday we stayed at home. I taught from 10 to noon and from 3 to 5 pm, while Randy and the kids were downstairs for most of the day. He put together the puppet theater, but I didn't know in what bad shape their puppets were. When I was done teaching, Emmy came to get me as he wanted to play a show for me, and he did a great job.
This morning I could sleep a little longer than yesterday, but at 10:30 am the alarm woke me up as I had a 11 am student. Before I started teaching, I put two lasagnas into the oven. That way we could eat right after I was done with my student. After having eaten, we all took a break individually. At some point, Randy took the kids back downstairs, and I lay down to get a few minutes of rest and fell into a light sleep. At 2:30 pm I started teaching, but just for one hour. Then I made their dinner-to-go boxes before getting everyone ready to leave the house.
A few minutes after 4 pm we all left to go catch the 4:20 pm train and got to church quite a few minutes before the service started at 5 pm. And it was a special service, but I had forgotten that it was. We sat down on our usual seats in the front and to the side. Then the service started.
There was a brother and his sister there that the kids know - she's a little younger, and he's a little older than our kids. They all started playing together. Sammy was very disappointed that his friend Janos wasn't there.
At some point a lady came to us that it was time for the kids to go to the kids' program. There was no teaching, however, just play time. Randy went with all three kids, while I stayed in the service. After the service, they were serving free food in the café, so we stayed to eat. As it was getting late, we left after we were done. It was already 8 pm.
By 8:45 pm we were back home. Tammy was already crying because she was so tired. We got them ready for bed right away. I prayed for them and they went to sleep. Then I turned my computer on. Randy went to bed really early, before it was even 11 pm. My usual bedtime is 2 am.
