Day 2066. While yesterday was a public holiday and the last day of the Easter break, it was quite close to a typical day of teaching for me, as I had three students. In the morning Randy let the kids go outside our apartment where they painted on the floor and Emmy played soccer. I taught from 11 to 12 and then cooked lunch. After lunch, I was getting ready for my 2:30 pm student. Before I started, Randy left with the kids to take them to the playground. There Emmy found some other kids to play soccer with, and they all enjoyed the zipline and the sand.

Back home, it was time for piano practice and before I knew it, it was time to make their dinner which started our evening routine. I put them to bed, then taught from 8 to 9 pm. After I was done, I went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat.

Today it was back to normal life. Randy left with all three kids to first drop off Sammy at his kindergarten, then take the other two to their kindergarten. I went back to sleep and enjoyed my only morning without teaching or going anywhere this week. At 10:45 I woke up and took my time getting up. I then put some food into the oven for lunch. Randy left to pick up Sammy, and they returned at 12:40 pm. I then ate, and Randy left again to go pick up the other two kids.

Sammy had been waiting impatiently for the packages that were supposed to arrive today, and in fact, they even arrived around 11:45 am. And so Sammy was very happy to get his favorite cookie with songs for his headset back as he had lost it a few days ago. I was also excited about the other stuff that had arrived, as well as stuff for Sammy's siblings.

I was working on getting the new electronics set up and tidied up our pantry which was very much needed. That way time went by fast. Then I got my stuff ready to leave the house. Randy and the kids got home around 2:15 pm, and at 2:35 pm I left the house with Tammy and Emmy.

We had left a little earlier as usual as I wanted to make a stop at the bank to withdraw some money. Then we continued on, but we had to wait for the subway for a long time. We then took the tram and arrived at the dance studio at 2:31 pm. The class was supposed to start at 2:30 pm, so I was surprised to see parents and kids stand on the street. Then a parent let me know that the teacher was running late. Tammy, Emmy, another kid with a scooter and another kid then started playing together in some space near the entrance and had lots of fun.

The teacher arrived 20 minutes late, and we all went into the studio. Emmy put his sports shoes on and joined the group for the class. They did some quite difficult acrobatics move that nobody seemed to be able to do. Then he put a map up to let all the kids do somersaults and handstands. As he knows that we need to leave early, Emmy went first, and he did a great job. Then we left after only half an hour of class, but already later than usual.

We rode our scooters to the tram stop, and Tammy and Emmy went on the little playground there until I could see the tram coming. We rode it for three stops, then we got off and rode our scooters to the school for the ball-playing class. It had already started, and Randy and Sammy were already inside the gym, together with Michi. Tammy and Emmy quickly changed and went inside as well.

Randy, Sammy and I sat along the wall, and Sammy played ball with Michi for most of the time. Emmy was trying to shoot a lot of hoops today and got the ball in quite often. They were playing different games today, as usual, and nobody got hurt today.

At 5:30 pm the class was over. They got changed again, and we walked to the nearby playground, where they had 10 minutes to play. Then it was time to walk to the bus stop to catch the 5:53 pm bus home.

I had forgotten to make sandwiches today, so the kids had to wait until we got home. Then I made their food, and they ate. After they were done, I took them downstairs for piano practice, then they went into the bathtub, where they ate some more. I put Sammy to bed with a prayer, then lay down with Tammy and Emmy to read them stories before praying for them. They then went to bed - it was already nearly 8:30 pm - and I went to the kitchen to make my salad which is time-intensive. As it's the only evening this week where I don't have a student, it was the only night to do that. After I had eaten my salad, I went to work on today's pictures. Around 11:30 pm Emmy came to me and lay down next to me in bed. That's rather unusual. I then went to the kitchen with my computer. Now it's 1 am and time to take care of the dishes.
