Day 2087. This morning I went back to bed after Randy had left with the kids to take them to kindergarten, then my alarm woke me at 10 am as I had a 10:30 am student. I taught until 11:20, then went to the kitchen to make lunch. I was there when Randy got home with a little bike he had bought second-hand. It's time for our kids to learn to ride a bike.

Just after noon Randy left to pick up Sammy and brought him home. Then he left again to go pick up the other two kids. Sammy was watching videos, while I was eating and then scanning for my student, then I let him play with the door while I continued working on the computer.

At about 2:15 Randy got home with the kids, and I gave him his bowl of chicken noodle soup. Before he could start eating, the doorbell rang and our new friend that had come yesterday arrived. She wanted to take Sammy for a walk, so we put him into the wheelchair and the two of them left, heading to the park close to our house. Before they left, I told Sammy that I was taking his siblings to breakdance and that Daddy was going shopping.

I was getting ready for us to leave the house and made sure the kids had the right clothes on. At  2:50 pm I left the house with Tammy and Emmy, and Randy left just after us. We took the subway together, but Daddy got off first. Then we took the tram and walked the rest of the way to the dance school. Last week Tammy had been so irresponsible with her scooter that I told her no scooter for a while. That's why we were all walking today.

We still got to the class in time. Once again Tammy was joining the class, and they were both having lots of fun. Emmy put his breakdance hat on that helps with turning on your head and tried it but it will take a lot of practice to get there. Later in the class, they did headstands and handstands again, but I missed Emmy doing it. After they had both done it, it was time to leave to make it to their next class.

We were walking to the tram stop and saw that one had just arrived. We continued walking, when another tram was approaching. This time we were close enough that we started running, and we actually made it. That was great. We rode it for three stops and got off. I noticed that there was a good number of people at the bus stop and checked when it was supposed to arrive. It was just 2 minutes so we stayed there. Randy and Sammy were going to be on that next bus as well. The bus was late which made Emmy really impatient who wanted to walk to the school where they were going to have their ball-playing class, but it was worth waiting. The bus arrived, and Randy and Sammy were on it. Tammy and Emmy got on, while I waved them good-bye.

I turned around and went back to the tram stop as another tram was just arriving. I took the tram to the subway and rode the subway home. I got home before 5 pm.  I had enough time to cut the kids' fruit for their dinner for when they'd get home; Randy already had their sandwiches with him to give to them on the bus. And I also still had some time to prepare for my 5:30 pm student.

I was still teaching, when Randy and the kids returned just after 6 pm. By 6:20 pm I was done. They were still eating at that point. After a while they went into the bathtub, then I went downstairs with them for piano practice. Back upstairs, I put Sammy to bed, then Randy left to go pick up another second-hand bike for the kids. I then sat down with Tammy and Emmy to read them some stories, then they went to bed as well. I sat down with them as Daddy was not home. Sammy was not happy about that at all. I then asked him whether I could go to the kitchen to get something to eat, and he let me. A while later, he started crying for Daddy, and we called him on the phone. Sammy was still up, when Randy returned home at 8:45 pm, and he was very happy to see Daddy. Even though Randy hadn't eaten yet, he sat down with Sammy who soon fell asleep. Only Tammy had fallen asleep before Randy's return. Emmy got up to look at the new bike before going back to bed.

Already having eaten, I went back to work on the computer. Now it's 12:30 am, and Randy is about to go to sleep while I have to get a few more things done, including the kitchen, before going to bed.
