Day 2238. This was week 6 of school. The kids learned the letter "s" and had their second dictation on Friday that went better than the first one. The first time their issue had been that they weren't writing their letters on the right lines or the right size so we practiced that before their second dictation, and it paid off. We've also been reading every day, the one page they get every week to practice, and they're doing well. And they do piano practice every day; right now not for very long as the class progresses slowly so they can already everything well.

It was a regular Wednesday morning. I got home at 2 pm from picking up Sammy, and Randy got home with the others at 2:30 pm. Grandma also arrived at 2:30 pm; we hadn't seen her since the first day of school so it was great to see her again. We all went downstairs together to have fun. The kids did their reading exercise so that Grandma could also see how they read. After an hour I had to leave them as I had to teach. I finished at 4:30 and got to say good-bye to my Mom, then I returned to my computer to teach for another hour. My third student had canceled which was convenient; I was less stressed making their dinner and doing piano practice with the kids. After our evening routine, the kids went to bed at 8 pm while I sat down at the computer for another student.

On Thursday I lay back down after Randy left to take Sammy to school, but not for long as I had a student at 9 am. After I was done, I made lunch and ate. At 12:15 pm I left the house to go to the gym; it was my only time this week. I enjoyed my workout then went straight to Sammy's school to pick him up at 1:30 pm, then we went home.

On Thursday's I start teaching at 2:20 pm so before Randy gets home with the other kids at 2:30 pm. Sammy was watching Peppa Pig videos, and it worked out well, even though Randy returned home later than usual.

I taught two students, until 4:05 pm, then I had to leave right away with Tammy and Emmy to make the 4:20 pm train. After the train we took the tram, then walked to the school where their exercise class is taking place every Thursday. It was their fourth of five sessions of playing basketball. They changed and went inside, while I sat down in the locker room to read and be on my phone for the next  hour. The class ended at 5:45 pm, and we walked back to the tram to take us to the train. We made the 6:01 pm train home, where we arrived at about 6:15 pm. Sammy wasn't home yet as Randy had taken him to his wheelchair class. They arrived a little later. After dinner, piano practice, bathtub and prayer, they went to bed at 8 pm while I sat down to teach.

On Friday I was also able to lie back down for a while; at 9:30 am my alarm woke me up as I had a student at 9:45 am. After I was done, I ate a bite, then got ready for my 11:15 am student. I taught for an hour, wrapped it all up, then left to go pick up Sammy, which is between 12:30 and 1 pm on Fridays. Randy had already left the house at noon to pick up Tammy and Emmy at 12:50 pm and take them to tennis. They played from 2 to 3 pm, then they took the train across Vienna and walked to the subway platform to meet me and Sammy. Sammy and I had two hours at home and left at 3 pm to take the 3:20 pm train to that same subway platform. We got their first, a few minutes later Randy and the kids arrived.

We all got on the next subway train back the way Sammy and I had come, but I got off with Tammy and Emmy first to take them to their breakdance class. Randy went home with Sammy. Tammy was crying that her legs were hurting from all the walking and also that her tooth was hurting so bad. He front tooth on the bottom had been wiggling for weeks, and it would often hurt her. I even bought a cream to put on it to help with the pain. I tried to comfort her but to no avail. We walked to the dance studio where she changed shirts, then she went inside for the class, together with her brother. She's such a trooper! She didn't run in circles with the others but participated in everything else.

I went to their lounge room that was very busy while it's been empty every week so far. I was able to get a comfy chair that I spent the next hour in, reading and on my phone. I wasn't as tired as I usually am on a Friday afternoon. Just before their class ended, I walked back to the room they're in. It has a glass window so you can watch. They were just doing headstands and handstands, and I was able to to take pictures and videos.

At 5 pm the class was over, and we walked back to the subway to ride it to the train and go back home. Just after 5:30 pm we were home. I went to the kitchen to cut up their fruit; they had already eaten their sandwiches on the way home. I gave them their food, then sat down at the computer to teach at 6 pm. I was done at 7 pm. Tammy was crying about her tooth hurting, and I told to go to Daddy and see whether he can get it out. He saw that it hurt so much because it was twisted, and he simply pulled it out. It bled quite a bit but Tammy was very happy that it was finally out. Half a year after the boys, she's finally lost her first tooth!

After our evening routine, the kids went to bed at 8 pm while I sat down at the computer to teach.

This morning my alarm went off at 9:30; the kids had gotten up at 7 am. I got ready, and just before 10 am I left the house together with Tammy and Emmy. We rode the subway downtown, doing their reading exercises, then walked to their music school where their class started at 10:30 am. We were there early, and the kids started building with the big foam cubes. They created a cave under the table that Emmy crawled into.

Then the class started. Everyone was present this time. After the greeting song, the teacher once again asked everyone to guess what each person had had for breakfast. Then it was time for the finger warmup, followed by playing the songs they have been practicing. Then she had them come to the front to teach them Fa sharp. It's their first time learning any of the black keys. They then went back to their pianos to look at the new song with Fa sharp and circle all the ones they could find, then play the song. Then they went up front to do their action song, followed by story time which is always the end. They then got their stickers and stamps, and the class was over.

We walked to the subway and rode it for a few stops to where the McDonald's is where Randy and Sammy were already waiting for us. I ordered our food, and we sat down to eat. Tammy showed off her missing tooth and put a straw through the hole to drink. After we were done eating, we walked to the playground that was right next to McDonald's. Sammy had already been there before lunch. The kids were having lots of fun there even though Emmy was really hurting after hurting his knee when he fell with his scooter, plus his ankle was hurting as well.

Just before 1 pm Randy left with Sammy to take him to the 1:30 pm class at their music school that is for special needs kids. Last week we had all gone there. They were two other girls in the class with Sammy, and Sammy was having lots of fun. Unfortunately Randy didn't take any pictures.

Tammy and Emmy continued playing at the playground. Tammy met a friend from ballet there and was playing with her the whole time. Emmy was climbing around, injured or not. After a while, we also left and walked back to the subway that we rode home. Back home, the kids got on their tablets, while I got ready to teach at 2 pm. I then taught for two hours. Randy and Sammy returned home before I was done. After I was done, we did piano practice and other school work before dinner time.
