HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2239. Sunday and no 6:15 alarm. The kids were up at 7 am and got quite loud from time to time. I was glad when they finally went downstairs which allowed me to finally sleep uninterrupted. At 11:15 am my alarm went off, and I got up and went to the kitchen to cook. We were able to sit down to eat before it was even noon.
After we were done eating, the kids got ready to leave the house and left with Randy just before 12:30 pm. They rode the subway to the end and walked to their maths club that started at 1 pm. By 1:30 pm Randy was back home. At 2 pm I left to go pick them up at 2:30 pm. I was hoping to get in before the class ended to listen in the last few minutes and take picture of Emmy with Freddie. Freddie is their school class hedgehog. Every Friday, one kid gets to take it home and had to take pictures with it throughout the weekend. On Monday morning their teacher will show those pictures to everyone in the class.
Once their maths club teacher opened the door, I went in and took a picture of Emmy with Freddy right by the board with the abascus. Before we left, the school founder and director talked to me and said that Emmy still needs to practice writing numbers. I told him that they had only just learned the numbers up to ten. Emmy practiced writing back home; especially the 5 is hard for him to write.
We walked back to the subway and did their reading practice on the way home, at least as much as we could. By 3 pm we were home and went straight downstairs for piano practice. Then I went to the kitchen to make their dinner boxes. After I was done, everyone got ready, and at 4 pm we left the house to go to church.
We rode two subways and got to church before the service started. Once someone had brought paper and crayons, all the kids went to the front to draw. Emmy then got some streamers to dance with but he didn't want me to take picture of him with Freddie and the streamers. At 5:30 I took them to kids' church. Sammy was not happy, when I told him that Daddy and I were both staying in the service. He wanted Daddy, and after only 15 minutes someone came to us in the service to let us know Sammy was asking for Daddy to come. Randy spent the rest of the service there. And he texted me early that Sammy wanted to go home. Ten minutes before the service ended I walked back there; they were just finishing up. After they were done, we put our coats on and left.
After two subways, we got home around 7:45 pm and immediately started getting all the kids ready for bed. After they were in bed, we also got ourselves something to eat which started our time of relaxation of the night. I downloaded all the pictures and edited them, then wrote my report. Now it's nearly midnight and time to take care of the dishes and hopefully go to bed soon.
