Day 2221. Week 4 of school. On Monday I was able to lie back down after having returned from taking Sammy to school. I had only slept 3,5 hours the previous night so I really needed it, but those two hours didn't make up for the short night. I felt it all day. Still, I felt better and left the house an hour earlier than usual to go to the gym before picking up Sammy from school.

After having taught from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, I made their dinner sandwiches, and around 3:45 pm I left the house with Tammy and Emmy to take them to their programming class. They're now starting the topic of electric circuits and put them together on the screen. While they were in class, I went to the nearby McDonald's but didn't have a student. Back home, we did piano practice, and after they had gone to bed, I taught from 8 to 9 pm.

The night from Monday to Tuesday wasn't good either but at least longer. Tammy doesn't come every night any more but she came that night and was tossing and turning a lot, constantly waking me up as our bed is too small for four people. Still, I did not lie back down after having taken Sammy to school, though I wanted to, and regretted it for much of the day. I did some work instead.

My student from 4 to 6 pm canceled which was a relief as I had found out the day before that Emmy's soccer class was actually already starting. It took some thinking and looking at the map and public transportation to figure out the best way to get everyone where they needed to be at the right time. Randy left with Emmy just before 3 pm to take the 3:05 bus that would take him straight to the school where the class was taking place - after some walking. It was a school we had never been to before. Randy called me from outside the school that he couldn't see the trainers and then finally walked inside where he saw them ticking off a list who was registered, then letting the boys go to the gym. No parents passed them so Randy could not watch Emmy play. That's disappointing.

Tammy, Sammy and I left the house exactly an hour after Randy and Emmy. We took the 4:05 bus, got off at the same stop and walked to the school where Emmy was playing soccer. We saw Daddy waiting there, and a few minutes later Emmy came out. Together we walked back to the main road where Randy went with Tammy to the bus stop on one side of the road, while I and the boys went to the bus stop on the opposite side of the road. We all waved at each other - and took a picture. And one of Sammy's handbrakes  broke.

We rode the bus and then the subway and got home by about 5:10 pm. I was extremely tired. I did piano practice with Emmy (I had done it with Tammy after Randy and Emmy had left), then the three of us left the house again to ride the subway for two stops and pick up leftover bread for a third of the price. By 5:50 pm we were back home, and I quickly got their fruit ready and then sat down at the computer to teach from 6 to 7 pm. Just after I was done, Randy and Tammy came home from Tammy's ballet class. They had taken the bus and the subway from the soccer class school and gone there directly. Tammy was only one of two girls that had shown up for class which is highly unusual.

After bathtub, story time and prayer time, they went to bed while I taught from 8 to 9 pm.

This morning I woke up feeling so much better as the night had been one of my best. Tammy hadn't come, and I never noticed Emmy coming because I slept so well. Thank God!

After returning home from taking Sammy to school, I sat down at the computer as I had a student from 9 to 10 am. After I was done teaching, I would have liked to lie down as I was tired but I worked instead.

I picked up Sammy at 1:30 pm, and the other two finish school at 1:50 pm and get home around 2:30 pm. I started teaching at 3:30 pm; Randy and the kids were already downstairs by then. I had two students and taught until 5:30 pm. Then I went downstairs to do piano practice with the kids. After that, we returned upstairs where I made their sandwiches for dinner, and they started teaching. Then they had their fruit. After they had eaten, bathtub time, story time and prayer time, they went to bed. For once I did not have a student which I was very happy about. I was able to make my salad and enjoy it.
