Day 2194. Three days have passed since their birthday on Monday. Tammy and Sammy have  been home with us, while Emmy is participating in a soccer camp again. Every morning Randy takes him there, it starts at 9 am, and at 4 pm he picks him up again. At home, Tammy and Sammy have been playing, also with each other, and have spent more time on their tablets than I'd like. As for me, my students are starting to come back, but I haven't done more than three hours of teaching per day. Tonight at 8 pm I had my first evening student again. As for the rest of the time, I've been preparing everything for their school start on Monday. They have to have their names on every crayon and every item they have at school, and I have a long list of what they need to bring. And I'm still in the process of putting together their school cones for their first day of school on Monday.

As for other news, on Monday, on her birthday, Tammy's first tooth finally started wiggling. Tammy is very excited about that. It's one of the two front teeth on the bottom. As for me, I had a dentist's appointment yesterday to get my teeth cleaned. Thankfully it was only half an hour this time and not as painful. I made appointments for the kids to get check-ups later this fall.

Last night, I was moving school supplies, when a silicon item on a chain hit my open eye with a lot of force. I buckled over in pain. I was in so much pain that I was considering going to the hospital to get checked out. I lay down, my eyes closed, and couldn't do anything. After a while it got a little better. At 10 pm I decided to go to bed early as I couldn't really do anything anyway. However, that's mighty early for me, and when Randy went to bed at midnight, I was still wide awake. It was some time after 1 am before I fell asleep. Thankfully, my eye was fine this morning. I see just as well as before, and I have no more pain. Thank God!

Emmy has been really tired, when he comes home. The past two days he's been doing goalie training which meant that his fingers were really hurting from holding balls. Yesterday he was crying when I asked him to do piano practice because his fingers were hurting to much. Tonight he started crying as well, but I told him I'd rather he'd stop playing soccer so he can play the piano. In the end, he played the song just fine, and he's still playing it better than his sister.
