19 months 10 days

Last night it was after 4 am, and this morning we got up a little later, at 8:20 am. After feeding them, cleaning them up and dressing them, I went back to bed, and Randy took them downstairs, while I went back to bed. My alarm woke me up at 11 am again, so I could make lunch for everyone.

It was spinach day, so fingers, faces and chairs were green. Tammy added some white yoghurt to the picture, creating a light-green mix. It was messy, but it always is, just not always this visible. They did not like being cleaned up, but they never do. I put Emmy to bed, and Randy went downstairs after putting Sammy to bed. I was cleaning up, and once Emmy was asleep, I went to get Tammy and put her to bed. She had all three rabbits in bed with her, and was holding them all. I went to bed myself, catching up on stuff on my phone, and then fell asleep, getting maybe another hour of sleep.

It was a rude and unwelcome awakening, when Randy came in to get me. It was 2:30, and they were all up and ready for their afternoon meal. In the afternoon, after waking up, they usually do not want to sit down in their chairs. It's only after I bring out the fruit that Tammy stops crying and starts eating her watermelon. By the way, I forgot to say yesterday how they've been saying "heiß" (hot). Emmy repeated it after me first and then kept saying it, and then Tammy did as well. Emmy also repeated "kalt" (cold) after me, but prefers the word "heiß". It's so cute!

After cleaning them up and dressing them, we all went downstairs to play. Emmy was really cranky, as he often is in the afternoon, and I tried hard to keep him happy. Randy put water into this mat with moving fish inside that was a gift from Grandma, when they were little, and they've really been enjoying it. Tammy was jumping on it. They like the way the water feels under their feet.

And then there was reading books, swinging, and running up and down with Emmy on my shoulders. We also got the big, blue ball out, and both Emmy and Sammy were lying on it, while I was rolling them around, which they enjoyed. I tried at one point to sit down at the desk and work, but they can see me, and then they want to be with and cry, so I don't get far.

At 5 pm I left them to get the food ready, and half an hour later we fed them. Then bathtub and bed. Emmy needed some help falling asleep tonight, while Tammy fell asleep faster. And then I heard Emmy cry hard, and when I went to check on him, he was standing naked in bed and had peeded on the spot. He has now figured out how to open the sleeping bag with the zipper that ends in his armpit. I comforted him, put a new diaper on, and gave him a new pj, while Randy changed the sheets. Then I held him for a while, before putting him back to bed.

It's 2 am now, and I'm still translating the newsletter to German. I'd like to get it done and send it out tonight, but I'm already pretty tired. There's no more Christine to help, and so we have four days in a row without any help. Please pray for my health and for good decisions concerning it.
