Day 758. Last night I was so exhausted I went to bed at 11:15 pm. Emmy had been really restless again. I told Randy I'd like for them to sleep in their beds until at least 5 am, and that we should take them back there, when they come before then. Well, I don't know what time it is in the middle of the night. I know we were kid-free for a while, but then Tammy and Emmy were in bed with us, and I have no idea what time they came. When Sammy woke up in the morning, I went to get him to join us as well, so he'd not be left out. They were all awake by 7 am, and by 7:30 we were up to have breakfast.

After breakfast we went downstairs, where I turned worship music on. Sometimes the kids come to me to hold them, and then I start praying and prophesying over them. We were looking at some books, and when Randy arrived, I left them to finish cleaning up and work, and made good progress. At 10:30 I stopped to start cooking, and at 11 am we all sat down to eat. And they were not eating much today, but ate their fruit puddings. Then I put Tammy and Emmy into the bathtub and turned the shower head on to wash all the food off of them. They loved it so much they complained, when I got them out.

Then Emmy and Sammy went to bed, while Randy went downstairs with Tammy. It was a little earlier than usual, 11:30, and the boys were not falling asleep right away. Emmy was just about to, when Tammy suddenly came upstairs all by herself. Her brother was up right away, no more sleeping. For nearly TWO HOURS I tried to get Emmy and Tammy to sleep. Sammy slept about an hour before they woke him up. I did everything possible, being myself more tired than they were, and getting frustrated that I was not getting anywhere. The biggest issue was that we had to leave just after 2 pm, so they needed to sleep. I ended up picking up a crying Emmy who was just so very tired and lay down with him. He fell asleep quickly, and I was able to get up with him continuing sleeping in our bed. Randy had sat down with Tammy on the chair, and they were both sleeping.

But both kids didn't get much more than half an hour of sleep. I dressed Emmy while he was sleeping on our bed, and dressed a sleeping Tammy in her bed. They both woke up once we put them into the strollers. We left the house at 2:10 and made our bus. We had to do some walking after getting off and made it to the dance class just in time.

The kids had already taken a dance class there in summer, and had missed the first two session of this fall dance class. It was a different teacher, and so it was all different. When we first walked in, they were quiet and stayed close to me. She did several songs with actions, and Tammy was standing to my left and Emmy to my right, just watching everything. After the songs, she got equipment out and put up an obstacle course. That excited them right away and soon they were their normal selves again, enjoying everything and knowing no fear. They were climbing and jumping, having fun. Randy had Sammy most of the time, who was also having fun. Several times Emmy refused my hand to jump off or do something else and wanted the teacher's hand to help him.

Then she brought out cups with water, and they immediately started sipping on all of them. Then the food came that they were already waiting for. This teacher cut the bread into small pieces - some with cheese, and some with ham. Tammy ate the ham off the bread again. They also had bananas. Ours were the last ones to be done eating, and then continued playing.

But not for long as it was 4:15 and the end. The teacher sang a good-bye song and gave each kid a sticker. We put their shoes back on and left to return home. We missed a bus, so we had to wait 10 minutes for another one. It was pretty full, but we ended up getting a seat after a little bit. By 5:10 we were back home.

It wasn't worth for them to go back downstairs. We all sat down by the table, where I was cutting food and giving it to them on the fly. It worked out pretty well. I also put some corn on the cob in a pot, and 15 minutes later it was ready. They just love eating it, and I got some good pictures.

Then we went into the bathtub, where they were having fun. Emmy was so very tired that he came out first. Sammy was having the greatest time playing with his sister, the same way he had done the other day. I was moving him up and down as if he was jumping, and his sister was jumping right in front of him, and they were laughing at each other. Sammy was not happy at all, when we got him out of the water. By that time Emmy was already ready for bed.

A little while later they were all in bed. The boys fell asleep fast, but Tammy was as restless as always. I walked away a few times before she fell asleep for good.

I got myself something to eat and went back to work. And now I have been writing this report the same way I've been doing it recently, constantly falling asleep while typing. And yet, I still have the cleanup to do.
