HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 780. Last night I went to bed just after 12:30 am. At 2:30 Emmy was having a hard time, and instead of dragging it out, I just let him sleep in bed with us. Tammy joined us later. Today it was around 7:30, when we got up. After breakfast I took them downstairs, where we I turned worship music on and got their Bibles out. Once Randy came, I went upstairs to finish cleaning up and then work.
At 10:30 Sonja came, and just before 11 I started cooking lunch. Just after 11:30 I called everyone upstairs to eat. Emmy ate really well at the table today. Then he ran to the bathroom to get into the bathtub to play, and his sister followed him. I gave them their puddings in the bathtub, and was feeding Sammy his high-calorie pudding. Then we got them out and dressed them, and the boys went to bed.
Sammy fell asleep quickly, but that was not the case with Emmy. He might even have set a new record of how long it took him to fall asleep, and it was very frustrating to try everything and yet fail. At about 1:20 he finally fell asleep, after I turned his bed so he could not get out and after having woken up Sammy, who I took downstairs to Sonja . At 1:30 I went downstairs to getTammy to put her to bed. Her bed was now also closed off, and by nearly 2 pm she was also asleep. I would have loved to sleep myself, but needed to work. Emmy woke up after over an hour, I lay down with him, but after a few minutes he was up and I took him downstairs. Tammy woke up just after 3 pm and also went downstairs, where Sonja gave them their afternoon snack.
I continued working, and Randy was also working, organizing the kids' clothes, while Sonja was downstairs, playing with the three. At 5 pm I stopped to start making their food, and at 5:30 I went downstairs to tidy up with them before they'd come upstairs to eat. However, Sonja had already tidied up with them, and so they came up right away. In fact Sonja told me Tammy was tidying up even without being told to do so, while Emmy didn't lift a finger. They ate some food at the table, but were eager to get into the bathtub, where Sonja fed them, while I was feeding Sammy. They had fun playing with the faucet, and Sonja helped Emmy jump. They were not happy, when we got them out to put them to bed.
Since we had not had to tidy up, they were in bed before 6:30, which was just too early. I knew it was trouble, and I was right. For two hours we tried to get them to sleep; I was thankful Randy stepped in as well to help. We just have to find a better way, as this is exhausting and wastes our time. I got myself something to eat, was able to finish translating the newsletter and get it out, and continued with other office work. Now it's midnight, and I once again struggle with keeping my eyes open as I write.
It was just a regular day today, and I did not take any pictures.
