Day 770. Last night I headed to bed at 1:35, and Emmy once again wanted me to stay with him. I was too tired, needed to sleep, and so Randy agreed to sit in the chair by his bed until he was asleep for good. At some point both he and Tammy joined us in bed. They were awake and active pretty early, but it was 7:40 or so before we got up.

After breakfast we went downstairs, where I turned worship music on and got one of the new kids' Bibles out. When Randy came with his breakfast, I went upstairs to clean up and  then work. At 11 am I stopped to cook, and at 11:30 we sat down to eat. Emmy and especially Tammy have not been eating lunch recently. Randy thinks it's because they eat so much of his oatmeal in the morning which is filling and lasting. Neither one got any pudding, nor did they go into the bathtub to play with water, as they were not dirty from eating like they usually are. The boys went to bed, and Randy went downstairs with Tammy.

I got the boys to sleep after a short time, but knew that Tammy should not lie down before 1 pm. The last few days have been really tough, with Tammy not sleeping and waking her brothers up pretty much every day. At 1 pm Randy came up with Tammy, and even with all my efforts to prevent this situation again, she once again woke her brothers up before going to sleep. It was 2 pm before she fell asleep.

I was extremely tired and finally closed my eyes, but only for a few minutes. It was a rough awakening, but I had to get up to get everything ready for church. Time was already short, and I went as fast as possible, choosing their clothes, dressing them, and making their dinner to go. Because of the hospital visit yesterday, Randy didn't get to go shopping, and so we had no bread at home and were also out of other stuff, so it was not as much food as usual.

We left the house on time just after 4 pm and took the 4:20 train, followed by the tram, arriving at church a few minutes before the service started. Emmy and Tammy went up front right away, where banners and fabric was already lying on the steps for them to use in worship. They picked them up and started waving them. Sammy then joined us as well, waving and throwing fabric as well. He was a little cranky, so I had to keep him busy to keep him happy. There is a girl a few years older than Tammy, and she really likes Tammy and always come over to her, trying to get her to do what she wants. Today she walked away from the front with her, but thankfully they returned quickly.

At 5:30 we went upstairs to the toddler room, where we were the first. I got their food out, but they were more interested in playing with the many toys there and hardly ate anything. I was surprised, when Randy showed up a few minutes later. He said that Sammy wasn't eating and was asking for Mommy. And so Randy stayed with him until 6 pm, when the program started.

It's been a while since we were there, as we were gone traveling through Austria. Tammy and Emmy participated a litte, and Tammy tried to do the actions for the songs, but they were rather complicated for their age. They did participate, when it was time to get food out of a bag, and Tammy wanted to take it all out.

There was a little girl who was younger than them, and she went up to Emmy and kept kissing him, which was too funny. That is now the second time this is happening to him, after the dance class. I can already see how the girls are all gonna fall for him!

Then it was play time again, and they were having fun. Tammy helped clean up at one point. Sammy was playing with cars and sat without help holding on to the garage. Randy came to pick up Sammy, and by then the others were ready to leave too, and so I put their shoes on, and a few minutes later we left as well to go to the sanctuary.

Going down the staircase, we could already see Anna downstairs, which excited Emmy. He did not want to take my hand, but stretched it out to Anna who was coming towards us. And so I helped Sammy down and Anna Emmy. The service wasn't quite over yet. Emmy went to the front and lay down on the floor for a little while, then ran back to Anna. Once the service was over, we crossed over to the other side of the room to find Sonja. Emmy was excited to see her. After a few minutes of talking we made our way to the exit to return home.

We took the tram, and then had 15 minutes to wait on the platform. We got their food back out, and they continued eating. The regular train came just before 8 pm, and we had to carry the strollers up a few steps to get them in. We got home just after 8 pm and immediately started getting them ready for bed. Our weekly food delivery arrived, while we were still at it. The boys fell asleep right away, but the girl needed some time and help. It was nearly 9 pm, before she was finally asleep, and I could go downstairs to sit down with Randy to eat and watch a movie. We stopped half-way through the movie, as it was getting late and I still needed to get stuff done. I was really tired, but started working on the pictures. Then I did the dishes and started writing, but just could not stay awake to finish my report. Just after midnight I fell into bed.
