Day 793. Last night I went to bed at 12:30 am. It was Tammy who was restless last night, and we had to keep taking her back to bed, until we let her stay with us. Emmy came rather late. And in the end we again got up late, surprisingly, just after 8 am. I made breakfast, they didn't want to eat. we gave them their medicine, which takes time, dressed them and went downstairs with them.

I turned worship music on and got their Bibles out that we read until Randy arrived with his breakfast. Then I went upstairs to finish cleaning up and do office work. As it was leftover day, I was able to work until just minutes before noon, warmed everything up, and called them upstairs at noon to eat. Once again none of them wanted to eat. Tammy wanted a squeezy drink instead, and so did Emmy. And they both drank their medicine voluntarily again, and got 5c as a reward. As they were not dirty, they did not go into the bathtub today. I dressed them again and gave them their nosedrops, which is rather easy now. And Tammy was actually able to say "Nasentropfen" (nose drops) which is a longer word in German than English. Sammy has also been saying a lot of words already, and today he said his brother's name "Emmy". Emmy was really sweet with him in the bathtub tonight, hugging him and kissing him, and he took his hands and jumped up and down with him.

I put the boys to bed, while Randy went downstairs with Tammy. I tried to get Emmy to sleep, but to no avail. When he started asking for his Daddy at 1:25, I called Randy upstairs with Tammy, and asked him to sit by their beds. However, it wasn't working, so I finally returned to the chair myself, and by 2 pm or so I had succeeded in getting them all to sleep. Thank God! It doesn't always work, and it's rare now for all three to sleep at the same time! You better enjoy it, when that's the case!

I went back to work and powered on, even though I was tired. Sammy woke up first, but he had slept a long time, and then Emmy woke up, when his brother did. We took the boys downstairs, and Randy stayed with them. I also gave them some snacks, as it was already pretty late. When Tammy woke up a little later, I took her downstairs as well. When Emmy saw me, he held on to me and did not want to let me leave again. I held him for a while and then pulled him off, explaining to him that I needed to work. He was crying for a while, until he got distracted and started playing.

I only had just over an hour left to work anyway, which I did. At 5:30 I stopped working and started making their dinner, and at 6 pm I went downstairs to tidy up with them. Both Tammy and Emmy helped a little, while Sammy was pulling toys off the shelf. Then we all went upstairs and sat down by the table. Tammy and Emmy ate their soup - their favorite out of the three that we rotate - but nothing else. Emmy was asking for strawberries, but yesterday they had eaten the whole pack Randy had just bought, so they weren't any today. They took their medicine willingly, and got 5c for it, as well as 10c for tidiying up downstairs. Then they went into the bathtub. They had fun playing, but I could not get them to eat anything else. There was a full plate of bread and fruit that they had not touched. Sammy ate a little but not much. Then they came out, got their nose drops and chest rub and went to bed. By 7 they were in bed. Immediately they were up and trying to get out, so I asked Randy to take my place who is better at keeping them in bed. I kept coming back to give them milk or tea, when I heard them keep asking for eat. Even Sammy was up long tonight, having slept long in the afternoon.

I got myself something to eat, ate, and then went back to work. Emmy got up and wanted his Mommy, and I held him for a short time and put him back to bed. When he still wanted me, Randy sat with him for a while, until he slept again. As for me, I fell asleep in bed while working, and finally just allowed myself to sleep. Until Emmy came to me. I picked him up and lay down with him, but he was soon asking for milk, so I gave it to him and put him back into his bed. Then I did the cleanup, and started writing my report. Now I'm going to bed after another day in our recovery journey. We haven't been outside or anywhere in a while, and it's time for them to be able to get out and go somewhere again.
