Day 794. I'm feeling absolutely terrible again, and Randy has now also been affected full-force. Tomorrow morning we're both going to the doctor, while Sonja stays with the little ones. Prayer welcome.

Last night I headed to bed just after midnight. It was a typical night with Emmy and Tammy joining us in bed. It was Sammy who woke up crying first, and I was shocked, when it was already 8:45. Getting up this late is unheard of in our household!

I made breakfast, gave them their medications, dressed them and took them downstairs, where we turned worship music on and read the Bible together. When Randy arrived, I left them to go upstairs to finish cleaning up and then do office work. It was already 10:30, when I sat down to work. At 11:15 I went to the kitchen to make lunch, and at noon I called evereyone upstairs to eat.

It was spinach day, and I was glad to see Tammy eating her spinach and potatoes, while Emmy did not want to eat. I gave her her puddings, and then Emmy ate a little, and so he got puddings too. Then it was medication time, and they both drank their medicine for 5c they got for their piggy bank.

As they were green all over, it was time for the bathtub, where they had fun with the water. Sammy joined them, and I fed him his special high-calorie pudding. Once they came out, they still got their nose drops, and then the boys went to bed, while Tammy went downstairs with Randy. I was just dressing Emmy, when the cleaning lady arrived, and Emmy told her hello.

Sammy fell asleep rather quickly, at 1 pm, but not so Emmy. He was lying on me, and I was hoping for him to fall asleep. I finally put him back to bed, and by 1:15 I had succeeded in getting him to sleep. 20 minutes later Randy came upstairs with Tammy and put her to bed. He sat down in the chair, as I was not up to it. Before I knew it both boys were awake. Sammy had slept 45 minutes, and Emmy half an hour, so way too little. But the only thing to do was for Randy to go downstairs with Sammy, and Emmy wanted to go too, so he did. I lay back down in bed, after Tammy was asleep, and soon fell asleep myself.

I was woken up, when Randy barged in asking for snacks for the boys. From there it wasn't that long until Tammy woke up, and I took her downstairs to the others. Randy had to run to the ATM, so I stayed with them, even though I felt terrible. As for the kids, I think they're approaching the end of this sickness. Nobody has a fever any more, but they all still have runny noses to various degrees, and a cough to various degrees. Emmy took his last antibiotic tonight, as he started it first.

The four of us had fun. Emmy wanted into the swing, with his guitar, and Tammy wanted to watch monkey videos, which we all ended up doing. When Randy returned at about 4:30, I went upstairs for the remaining hour I could work. At 5:30 I started making their dinner, feeling pretty miserable, and at 6 pm I went downstairs to tidy up with them, before we all went upstairs to eat.

I was glad to see Emmy eat his bread, and both he and Tammy ate their soup. They did not touch their fruit. I gave them their medicine, and then they went into the bathtub. I could barely get them to eat anything else there. At least Sammy ate all his bread, but then did not want any fruit.

They had fun in the bathtub, and then came out one after another. By 7:10 they were all in bed. Randy sat down by their beds, while I went to bed myself. I was cold and pulled my comforter all the way to my ears. I lay there like that for a long time, before I grabbed something simple to eat. Then being cold turned to being hot, and I started working again. Thank God the cleaning lady was here today. I'm done with the dishes, now with the report, and am going to bed early.
