HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 798. I went to bed just after midnight, but Emmy was having a restless night again, and so it was over an hour later before I actually got to go to bed. And I finally gave up and let him join us in bed, as nothing else was working. At least he didn't have a fever.
Last night we turned our clocks back, and that affected everything today. The kids got up an our earlier obviously. It was about 7 am, when I got up to make breakfast. They're not keen on eating cereal with milk any more, but they did like sitting down on the boxes to eat, so they at least ate some this way, rather than not eating any at the table.
After breakfast and their medicine, I cleaned them up and dressed them and took them downstairs. Tammy is always already talking about the Bibles, and I get them down as soon as we get downstairs. We read quite a few Bible stories together, and then I got up and started praying, and immediately Emmy wanted me to pick him up and pray for him, which I did. Then I did the same with Sammy, and then Tammy wanted her turn. Precious moments.
When Randy arrived with his breakfast, I left to finish cleaning up and then work. Obviously I got to start working early today, but we decided to have lunch at 11:30, so half an hour earlier time-wise, but half an hour later for their body-clock. Today was leftover day, so I could get up just minutes before it was time to eat to warm everything up. Tammy and Emmy had some potatoes, and Tammy a little chicken, but it wasn't much. Tammy wanted a squeezie drink, like always, and so they had the last ones we had on the shelf.
Then I got their medicine out, and they drank it for money. It didn't seem worth it to play in the water, with them not having eaten, but they did it anyway, just for fun. Emmy wanted out quickly for some reason.
Then the boys went to bed, and Randy downstairs with Tammy. Thankfully I was able to get Emmy to sleep rather quickly, and then returned to my computer to work. At 12:30 actual time (1:30 body clock) Randy returned and put Tammy to bed, and after a while she fell asleep too. All three babies sleeping, we don't have that too often. Sammy woke up first. I lay down with him and had some fun with him, before he went downstairs with Randy. When Emmy woke up, I tried to lie down with him, but he also wanted to go downstairs, so I took him, together with snacks. I believe it was before Emmy woke up that I had actually fallen asleep. And then Tammy was suddenly wide awake and standing right there. It was just after 3 pm. So I called the boys upstairs, and we started dressing them all to take them to the playground. It was a sunny day, and because of this sickness that's been going for over 3 weeks, they haven't been going anywhere. This afternoon Emmy's fever was only a little elevated, thank God!
We left the house at 3:30 to walk to the playground, which takes us about 12 minutes. There weren't as many kids as there were when it's warmer. I'm glad we went, as they had so much fun. We were only there for 40 minutes, as the sun now goes down earlier too. It was Tammy who had the most fun. Emmy was a little cranky and clingy, like he is when he's sick, even though he didn't have a fever like has been.
We got home at 4:30 pm, which was early enough for them to go downstairs to play before dinner. I only had a few minutes of doing something else, before I started making their food at 5 pm. At 5:30 I went downstairs to tidy up with them, and then we went upstairs to eat. Today I had put the salami on their bread, but Tammy simply ate it off and left the bread. She wasn't interested in any other food.
We went to the bathtub, where they ate very little more. As for Sammy, I was able to feed him ALL his food on his plate. Thank God! Tammy wanted to eat salami, and she ended up eating a lot of it. Better than nothing.
We got them out of the water, one by one, and ready for bed. They were in bed somewhere around 6:30, which is also half an hour later than usual for their body clock. So perfect! I sat down by their beds, and Emmy was the first one to sleep. Sammy was wide awake and trying to have fun with his sister, keeping them both up. After a long time I got Sammy to sleep, and then the girl as well. It was 7:30. I got up, got something to eat, and sat down by my computer. I guess I was going too slow. Emmy was having great trouble sleeping again, wanting to be held, crying, not wanting into his bed. Randy helped at first, and then I did. I felt like I could never walk away! I was finally able to keep him in his bed and get my computer to work while sitting by his bed. And so I've been struggling greatly to get this report written. My eyes keep shutting because I'm so tired, and when I open them again, I have to correct what I had just written. Randy has been in bed for a while, and now it's my turn. I'm praying Emmy continues sleeping for a while.
